Practice mindfulness in communication: be fully present, be respectful and put down the phone
Embrace silence as an opportunity: this allows both parties to collect their thoughts
Encourage diverse perspectives: understand everyone has different perspectives and viewpoints. Great conversations can allow someone a chance to share why they feel that way which could provide enlightenment.
Practice patience: meaningful conversations don’t happen overnight. Be patient and persistent.
