  • 4PM: Matt Hamilton's Lookalike and Anti-Lions Party
Matt Hamilton is joined by Jesse Nelson as they hold the show down while Jim is still away on vacation in Florida! Matt and Jesse get into their observations and favorite (vindicating?) moments from the NFL Divisional Round before Jim calls into the show during Hour 2 to give his thoughts on the Bears hiring Ben Johnson as their next HC. First, Matt and Jesse have to re-live a bigger sports hero coming to Chicago when Matt Hamilton held a lookalike contest in Chicago on Saturday night! Matt talks about his excitement and joy from meeting 14 fans dressed up as himself while also watching the Lions blow their Super Bowl hopes with a 45-31 loss to the Commanders! They loop Matt in on the other NFL headlines of the weekend during What Matt Missed, including an NFC North OC moving to a division rival, a Fox broadcaster commenting on a nameless HC candidate, and a CBB coach who didn't realize how irrelevant Bears QB Caleb Williams is. Jason Wilde joins Matt Hamilton and Jesse Nelson to help recap the NFL Divisional Round and the Bears hiring Lions OC Ben Johnson as their next HC. First, Jason has to compliment Matt on his successful lookalike contest down in Chicago on Saturday night (even though his own wife didn't wanna show up). They discuss what Johnson's hire means for the NFC North and if this move will positively impact the Bears more than it negatively impacts the Lions. They also discuss Kevin O'Connell getting an extension in Minnesota and the trendy take among NFC North fans that Matt LaFleur is now the 4th-best HC in the division. Jason wraps up explaining why 2025 is a CRITICAL year for LaFleur -- from offseason to regular season to postseason!

  • 5PM: Will Ben Johnson be the next Matt LaFleur?
Matt Hamilton and Jesse are joined by former Florida man and diehard Bears fan Jim Rutledge to start Hour 2, as he joins his own show to give his thoughts on the Bears finally hiring Lions OC Ben Johnson as their next head coach. Jim explains he's confident that this was the best hire possible, who got one of the best HC candidates in "decades". They also discuss why Johnson is bound for success when replacing a bottom-of-the-barrel coaching situation for the Bears this season, how he compares to Matt LaFleur and other unproven OCs who were becoming HCs for the first time, and why was Johnson the right hire rather than Mike McCarthy or another re-tread HC. Matt and Jesse move on without Jim, as they review the Don't Quote Me predictions from the show last Friday ahead of the NFL Divisional Round. Who's playoff prediction was the most wrong, and was Jesse vindicated in rooting for the Lions while slandering Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts? During Throwing Stones, cold-weather hardo Jesse Nelson takes issue with Matt wearing a heated vest in the -20 degree weather. Matt and Jesse wrap up on Crosstalk with the Great Dane Huddle, chatting with Tarek Saleh and Alex Gravatt about their biggest observations from the NFL Divisional Round.

  • 5PM: NFL Divisional Round Picks + Predictions
Matt Hamilton, Jon Arias and Jesse Nelson roll into the second hour of their 2.5-hour show live from Sconnie Bar ahead of LOVB Madison Volleyball's debut match at the UW Field House! They diverge from talking about Matt's upcoming ceremonial first serve ahead of the game to talk about self-centered producer Jesse Nelson, delving into the criticisms of his take that he's actually rooting for the Lions to go to the Super Bowl now that the Packers have been eliminated from the playoffs! Jesse makes his case for why Detroit making it to the Super Bowl would be good for Green Bay, and Matt and Jon dissect whether it's acceptable for a Packers fan to EVER root for a divisional rival in the postseason, including if it's different for the Lions compared to the Vikings or Bears. They also preview this week's divisional round of the NFL playoffs. First, they play Don't Quote Me and make their longshot predictions for the Bills vs Ravens and Rams vs Eagles games on Sunday, and Jim Rutledge and Molly Brown chime in while their away with their longshot predictions for the Chiefs vs Texans game on Saturday afternoon. Matt, Jon and Jesse wrap up Hour 2 with Molly's Game, as Jon and Jesse give their picks in some gambling lines and props presented by Molly Brown!

They also give some final tips and pointers for Matt Hamilton ahead of his ceremonial first serve before the match, and Matt explains why his veins are thick with ice-cold Coors Lights! They also go Poll Dancing, as producer Primetime has the guys chime in on some questions from around ESPN Wisconsin this week, including whether it's IPT for Jesse to pull for the Lions to make the Super Bowl, if it's realistic for Davante Adams to make a return to the Packers this offseason, and if chocolate chips make or break banana bread and/or oatmeal raisin cookies!

  • Evan Cohen on JM&M
Evan Cohen of Unsportsmanlike joins Jim and Matt to remember the life and legacy of Bob Uecker after he passed away today at 90 years old. Evan shares the unique story from his mentor, Steve Wexler, who told him about Uecker's uncanny penchant for "mischief" when he was on the call of Brewers and baseball broadcasts in general. They also discuss why Ueck touched so many fans and people beyond Wisconsin and beyond sports, including his 100-or-so appearances on Johnny Carson and hosting SNL and everything from movies to cartoons. They also talk about his uncommon transition from professional athlete to play-by-play broadcaster and why his joy as a broadcaster transcended radio waves. Jim has to get in one Bears question before Evan leaves, asking if Mike McCarthy could help re-ignite the Packers vs Bears rivalry if he gets hired as Chicago's next HC. Evan explains why McCarthy is underrated and why the more important thing for Bears fans, and Caleb Williams, is getting too picky with their next head coach.

  • 5PM: RIP Mr. Baseball
Jim Rutledge and Matt Hamilton continue their show memorializing Bob Uecker after he passed away today at 90 years old. They discuss further what the Brewers broadcasting legend meant to them as Wisconsin sports fans and just baseball fans, and producer Primetime explains why someone as young as himself still could feel a connection to Ueck. They also honor Bob's impact beyond sports media and into media with the story that comedian Norm McDonald told on The Letterman Show about Ueck. They continue keeping things light with Molly's Game, as Molly Brown chimes in from her maternity leave with some betting lines and props to pick from for the NFL Playoffs and the CFP National Championship. During Throwing Stones, Jim and Matt each give their full picks/predictions for this weekend's NFL divisional round games, as Jim will be off the show until next Thursday. They wrap up the show listening to Bob Uecker's final call of the Brewers vs Mets playoff game and Christian Yelich's tearful postgame comments about what Ueck meant to him and the entire franchise.
