  • 5PM: Why So Coy, Matt LaFleur?
Jim Rutledge and Jon Arias continue into Hour 2 of Wednesday's show discussing the Packers coy response to any and all questions related to Jordan Love's elbow injury heading into Sunday's playoff game against the Eagles. They continue reacting to (in disbelief) to our Siding Unlimited poll question results that some Packers fans would actually want Malik Willis to start at QB if Jordan Love is less than 75% healthy. Bears fan Jim also gets sucked into a conversation about the Bears embarrassing HC search, discussing which HC candidates would actually add to the Packers-Bears rivalry (both by winning and by bravado), and how awful would it be to do a job interview over Zoom like all of the Bears HC candidates! They ask another Siding Unlimited poll question: Which NFC North HC is most likely to pull a "fake frozen" joke/gag during a Zoom interview? During Throwing Stones, Jim and Jon discuss whether Matt LaFleur is going overboard with his "level of coyness" when discussing Jordan Love's limited practice status and ulnar nerve injury. Mark Tauscher joins Jim and Jon Arias to discuss the Packers' upcoming playoff game versus the Eagles and Matt LaFleur's unsurprisingly coy response to any and all questions related to Jordan Love's elbow/ulnar nerve injury. They also have Tausch answer yesterday's poll question on if Jordan Love underachieved this season or if we just had out-sized expectations, and Tausch describes just how dumb it is to ask if the Packers should start Malik Willis if Jordan Love is less than 75% healthy heading into Sunday's playoff game. Jon also asks Tausch straight up: the Packers win if ____? Jim and Tausch also discuss how inept the Bears organization looks for holding ALL of their HC candidate interviews over Zoom, though Tausch is taking a week off from crapping on Chicago! Jim and Jon wrap up the show talking about tonight's Bucks game versus the Spurs and the news that Khris Middleton is being moved to a role off the bench as he continues to rehab/load manage from ankle surgery this season.

  • Jason Wilde on JM&M
Jason Wilde joins Jim and Matt to discuss the Packers playoff chances heading into the first round matchup versus the Eagles and more cleanup from last Sunday's embarrassing loss to the Bears. Jason first answers today's poll question, asking if Jordan Love underachieved this season or did we have out-sized expectations. Matt also describes how his expectations changed after Jordan's big offseason payday, and they discuss if Love can change the narrative about his performance this season with another run in the playoffs. Jason also answers yesterday's poll question, asking what the biggest regular-season flaw for the Packers heading into the playoffs: slow starts, defense late in games, Jordan Love, or coaching? And, which was the biggest issue in the 24-22 loss to the Bears, and how strong is Jim's hopium for his Bears after some of the early results in their head coach search?

  • 4PM: Jordan Love - Underachiever vs Out-Sized Expectations
Jim Rutledge and Matt Hamilton host for their final show together this week before Matt hits the road to curl in Arizona. They each describe if they're still hungover from their respective copium and hopium from the Packers' loss to the Bears before stepping back for a broader conversation on Jordan Love. With Love failing to take a significant step forward in performance from the 2023 to 2024 regular season, they ask if Love simply underachieved this regular season or if our collective expectations were simply too high? They also play What Matt Missed, reviewing some out-of-context audio clips about a Packers vet who wants to see the mistakes corrected, a spin on the coaching carousel on the East Coast, and a QB who says he "doesn't wanna hold things up" with his decision this offseason (again)... • 5PM: Can Josh Jacobs Carrry a Playoff Run?
Jim Rutledge and Matt Hamilton roll into Hour 2 discussing the Packers' playoff hopes following their Week 18 loss to the Bears. With the Packers squaring up against the No. 2 seed Eagles and star running back Saquon Barkley, Jim and Matt discuss if the Packers' star RB Josh Jacobs is good enough to carry them on a playoff run. Jacobs is good, but is he in the same elite tier as Saquon and Derrick Henry? How much does the issues of the rest of the Packers offense impact Jacobs this season? Since Jim and Matt were SO GOOD with their preseason predictions for the Packers and the overall NFL, they now make their predictions for the playoffs including the NFC and NFC Championship Games, the Super Bowl, and SB MVP! Jim and Matt quickly wrap with Throwing Stones, as man-child Matt defends his need for a honey-do list!

  • 4PM: Packers Blow it Vs. the Bears
Jim Rutledge and Matt Hamilton come back after the Green Bay Packers did the unthinkable -- lose to the 4-12 Chicago Bears in Week 18... Bears fan Jim Rutledge comes decked out in his full "big Ditka energy" outfit while Matt explains his biggest complaint about the Packers' loss (something Matt LaFleur needs to figure out). Jim also explains the video of his elated reaction to the Bears walkoff game-winning field goal, and why chain restaurant incompetence kept him from catching the first half of the game! They also react to the Packers' disastrous performance, including the injury to Jordan Love and the season-ending torn ACL for wide receiver Christian Watson, Love's continued erratic play, LaFleur's clock and coaching mismanagement, and a Packers defense that once again couldn't get the final stop it needed. They ask the fans which regular-season issue for the Packers should be their biggest worry heading into the first round of the playoffs versus the No.2 seed Philadelphia Eagles? They delve deeper into Jordan Love's struggles this season compared to his first season as starter last year, and are the passing struggles versus man coverage due more to Love, the wideouts, or LaFleur's playcalling? They wrap up Hour 1 with the Green & Gold Blind rankings, as they blind rank the performance of three notable Packers players from Sunday's game!

  • 5PM: Green Bay Packers Over-Expectations
Jim Rutledge and Matt Hamilton roll into Hour 2 of their show reacting to the Packers dropping their Week 18 matchup versus Bears, 24-22. Not only did the Packers lose to their bitter rival the Chicago Bears, but they stumbled into the playoffs and are without wide receiver Christian Watson tore his ACL. The Packers receivers didn't live up to our WR1 through WR4 expectations for most of the season, but how did we do with our expectations for this 2024 season? Jim and Matt review their and Molly's preseason predictions for numerous NFL awards and regular-season results, and they look back at Matt's written expectations for Packers quarterback Jordan Love and Jim's expectations for Caleb Williams. Next, they dive back into their short-term predictions, reviewing which member of the show missed the most with their prediction for the Packers vs Bears during Don't Quote Me last Friday. Jim, Matt and producer Primetime wrap up with Throwing Stones, as they review which coaching candidates they'd like to see the Bears hire this offseason (for good or bad reasons).

  • Jason Wilde on JM&M
Jason Wilde joins Jim and Matt ahead of the Packers' regular-season finale versus the Bears. They discuss if fans would/should think any less of the Packers if they were to lose to the Bears at Lambeau Field on Sunday, and with the Packers already locked into a wild card spot for the playoffs, how important is it to possibly be the 6th seed facing the Rams/Buccaneers instead of the 7th seed travelling to face the Eagles? Bears fan Jim also discusses why this game is important to him for his agenda that Caleb Williams has had a better season than Jordan Love in games vs the NFC North, and they discuss how each QB has performed compared to preseason expectations. Also, how would the vibes of this season compare to last season if the Packers do end up losing to Philly in the first round of the playoffs versus losing to San Fran in the second round last year. Jason also explains why he thinks the Packers championship window is just opening this season, and he wonders if Packers fans truly appreciate how difficult it is to win a Super Bowl... First, Jason also wants to know when Molly is getting back from maternity leave, and Matt wants to know if Jason has ever visited the smug 'n eggs or the snuggle house establishments in the Madison area!

  • 4PM: Packers vs Bears for A Couple Marbles
Jim Rutledge and Matt Hamilton find themselves already on Phish Friday after another weirdly fast holiday week. Even though there's not not as much typical juice for a Packers vs Bears game, how much is really left to learn about this Packers team before the playoffs, and are there any really positive things to take away from the game against Chicago? They ask today's Siding Unlimited poll question: Will you feel different about this Packers team if they lose to the Bears on Sunday? Jim also revisits yesterday's conversation with Evan Cohen of Unsportsmanlike when they discussed their favorite Madison businesses that have closed in recent years, which re-ignited Jim's memory of the famous "Snuggle House" for paying and respectful snuggling customers... How does this compare to an infamous "Smut 'n Eggs" restaurant that's SOMEHOW still open in the area? Jason Wilde joins Jim and Matt ahead of the Packers' regular-season finale versus the Bears. They discuss if fans would/should think any less of the Packers if they were to lose to the Bears at Lambeau Field on Sunday, and with the Packers already locked into a wild card spot for the playoffs, how important is it to possibly be the 6th seed facing the Rams/Buccaneers instead of the 7th seed travelling to face the Eagles? • 5PM: Smut & Eggs vs the Snuggle House
Jim Rutledge and Matt Hamilton continue discussing today's Siding Unlimited poll questions, as they seriously ask if Packers fans will think less of this team if they lose to the Bears as 10-point favorites on Sunday, and they also ask not as seriously if it's weirder to have a business that provides paid snuggling or smut & eggs services... Jim and Matt also discuss how this Packers season has or hasn't lived up to expectations, and can Green Bay ever achieve its ceiling until Matt LaFleur reins in his emotions on the sideline? Jim, Matt and producer Primetime all make their Don't Quote Me predictions for this Sunday's Packers vs Bears game, including an appearance from Molly Brown at the zoo. They also go Poll Dancing, as producer Primetime continues to make the guys feel uncomfortable with results of ESPN WI poll questions with topics from the Packers vs Bears, how bad this season has been for Chicago, and brushing your teeth with warm water! They wrap up asking which food goes best with smut or snuggling?

  • 1PM: Bret Bielema Is a Douche!
In a much shorter second hour, Jim and Matt start by discussing Hamilton's cowboy/Indiana Jones/Crocodile Dundee hat? This is followed by Molly's Game featuring producer Riley and some Notre Dame-Georgia Sugar Bowl talk. Jim gives a passionate rant during Throwing Stones about the antics from former Badgers and current Illinois football head coach Bret Bielema during the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl, leading us all to agree on the fact that he is in fact a douche. A brief recap concludes our first show in 2025!
