  • Mark Tauscher on JM&M
Mark Tauscher joins Jim and Matt to talk about the Badgers finding their new offensive coordinator in Jeff Grimes from Kansas. Tausch discusses his sit-down interview with coach Grimes, his experience as an offensive line coach, and what surprised him about how Grimes connected with head coach Luke Fickell. Jim also asks Tausch how last season's three lopsided losses to the Badgers rivals could change their philosophy in recruiting and the transfer portal, and Matt asks Tausch if the Badgers QB play will improve and if next year's starter is on the roster after the news that Braedyn Locke entered the transfer portal today. Jim also asks Tausch for his thoughts on the breaking news that Bill Belichick is becoming the next head coach of North Carolina football and what NFL skills that the legendary coach could bring to the ever-evolving college game. They wrap up discussing the Packers, if Jordan Love needs to go on a hot streak for the Packers to make a playoff run, and how does Green Bay bounce back following a physical game against Detroit heading into this Sunday versus Seattle.

  • 4PM: Braedyn Locke Transfer Portal
Jim Rutledge and Matt Hamilton start the show in the heat of the transfer portal with some breaking news that Braedyn Locke is leaving the Badgers. With Locke heading to the portal, they ask if the Badgers will get better QB play next year than they did last season, and they discuss if one of the QBs on the current roster will be starting next year (as well as making sure they can pronounce each QBs name properly). Jim and Matt react to some more breaking news that legendary NFL head coach Bill Belichick is officially heading back to school to take the head coach position at the University of North Carolina! How crazy is it that Belichick is going to be a college head coach and is it crazier than the gap in age between Bill and his 24-year girlfriend? They transition to their Packers conversation surrounding Jordan Love, as Jim and Matt discuss if the QB needs to get hot again like he did at the end of last season/postseason if the team is gonna make a deeper playoff run this year? Has Love's performance been up to the standard of a $55 million QB, and has he been definitively better than last season? Jim finally gets excited for once for Minute To Win It -- in honor of 100.5 ESPN becoming Madison's new home for Milwaukee Brewers Radio, he makes Matt list the 10 players from the Brewers' starting lineup for their final Wild Card game versus the Mets back in early October!

They also continue discussing the wild news that Bill Belichick is going back to college to become the head coach of North Carolina football, and producer Primetime Wollersheim tries to prove a point that The Longest Yard's lead character went by Paul "Motely" Crew. • 4PM: Brewers Coming to ESPN Madison!
Jim Rutledge and Matt Hamilton broadcast live from Tanner's in Middleton as they raise a Coors Light to the exciting news that 100.5 ESPN is becoming Madison's new home of the Milwaukee Brewers! To help raise a glass to the Brew Crew, GKB founder and CEO Craig Karmazin joins Jim and Matt to discuss why he's so excited to bring Brewers baseball -- aka "the No. 1 soundtrack in Wisconsin" -- to ESPN Madison. They also discuss the beginnings of GKB from the first idea in a small bar similar to Tanner's, having the Brewers, Bucks, Badgers Volleyball, and Barry Alvarez all on ESPN Madison, and Matt describes his experience throwing out the first pitch at a Brewers game and why Pat Murphy should let Matt play center field. Jim and Matt continue on asking the fans for their favorite thing about Brewers baseball -- Bob Uecker, tailgating, Bernie Brewer's slide, or the sausage race. Matt explains why he still brings a mitt to ball games, and they get a peak into the secret of who runs in those sausage suits. During What Matt Missed, Jim and producer Primetime quiz Matt on out-of-context audio clips about some of the biggest stories in sports, including a reigning Manager of the Year on Wilde & Tausch, an NFL legend joining the collegiate coaching ranks, and a washed QB who "other'd" his own team for its 14-year playoff drought. Jim also quizzes the fans on one of his favorite topics -- a classic song and which movie it belongs in.

  • 5PM: Jordan Love vs Sam Darnold
Jim Rutledge and Matt Hamilton roll into their final half hour of today's show from Tanner's Bar & Grill in Middleton. They continue discussing the exciting news that 100.5 ESPN is becoming Madison's new home of Brewers baseball this spring, and they get into today's Packers conversation. Jim asks Matt to react to a clip from Bill Simmons of the Ringer discussing whether Sam Darnold has been better than Jordan Love this season in the eyes of general NFL fans... Does Matt feel that Love is playing well enough to justify his $55 million per year contract that he signed this summer, and has his level of play been good enough to win a Super Bowl? During Throwing Stones, Jim calls out music fans who like to throw stones at the underrated Beach Boys.

They delve into the Packers' upcoming game against the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football, asking if the Packers are closer to the Lions or the Seahawks among the contenders in the NFC? • 5PM: Don't Do The Bartman
Jim Rutledge and Matt Hamilton roll into Hour 2 of their Monday show after a weekend without Packers or Badgers football. Jim and Matt continue discussing today's poll question about whether the Packers are closer to the Lions or the Seahawks as contenders in the NFC playoff picture. First, they continue their conversation stemming from the Simpsons-cast of the Bengals-Cowboys game on ESPN+ tonight, picking the best non-family characters from the iconic show. Some listeners chime in with some of their favorites, and Matt reveals that he help set up producer Primetime with a date (and-a-half) last Friday night. Jim also tells the scarring story from middle school of a classmate who performed the Do The Bartman dance, and they talk about some of the most embarrassing middle and high school memories that left classmates with some trauma. During Throwing Stones, Jim goes after a certain punter again for his take on Mike Tomlin among the NFL's best coaches and how he and others compare to Matt LaFleur. Jim and Matt wrap up with some crosstalk leading into the Great Dane Huddle with Barry Alvarez. The guys chat with Rose Bowl champs Tarek Saleh and Derek Engler for their thoughts on the Badgers' new OC hire -- Jeff Grimes from Kansas -- and Matt asks if Badgers fans should avoid getting overhyped about an OC for the second time in a row.

  • Jason Wilde on JM&M
Jason Wilde joins Jim and Matt following the Packers' 34-31 loss to the Lions on Thursday Night Football. Jim asks Jason about Dan Campbell's bold 4th-down decisions that paid off for his team, and how does Detroit's very solid identity compare to Green Bay's identity with Matt LaFleur. Matt also explains to Jason why he's got issues with LaFleur's play-calling and the offense's track record of slow starts, and Jason explains why Matt isn't a TOTAL idiot. But, what's up with Jaden Reed only getting one target in the game, and are the Packers' handicapping or helping the offense when they dedicate to running the ball with Josh Jacobs? Primetime also tries desperately to get Jim and Matt to respect Jason's time to no avail.
