Initial investigations suggested the deceased woman was Francesca Linda Jacobs, while the remains in the box belonged to her mother, Florence Jacobs. However, after analyzing DNA samples, authorities found that the deceased woman was actually Linda Rae Jacobs, who was born in 1942, and the remains were those of her mother, Ida Florence Jacobs. The investigation also revealed that Linda Rae Jacobs had been living under a false identity.
