As if parenting wasn't obstacle-y enough, we also have to constantly wonder about their nourishment!
Am I feeding them the right portion sizes?
Are they eating enough?
How do I encourage my picky eater to try x y z?
Will the world fall to pieces if I give them an Oreo cookie?!
Megan Wallace, a Family Nutritionist with Sprouts Nutrition, joins our conversation & alleviates some worries + concerns, answers our burning questions, & shares some laughs with us along the way.

Being first time moms you do all the possible research humanly possible, but that still didn't seem to be enough. There are questions that a first time mom may not know to ask and learning on the job turned out to be our best teacher.
For those reasons, we bring you this goldmine of an episode. We have compiled all of what we've learned about postpartum and packaged it in a short 30-ish minute episode.
Share it with every expecting mama in your life and make her life that much easier!

Easily one of the topics we researched the most while pregnant!
If you are anything like us and had next to no idea about c-sections, then this is the episode to listen to! Siao shares it all, unfiltered, real, and informative.
If you are anticipating a vaginal birth and are unsure of what to expect, Ina lays it all out for you.
With each of us experiencing L&D differently, we share things we'd learned about the whole process from both scenarios. This is the episode to share with all the mamas-to-be, even if she's given birth before. Every birth story is unique & you never know which way it is going to go, so why not be prepared for each scenario!?
What was one thing you are/were super nervous about for labour & delivery?

So much energy is put into researching how baby is developing, do's & don'ts of pregnancy, how to announce you're expecting on social media in the cutest way possible.
What often gets forgotten in the mix is to research or share with the mom-to-be all of the possible changes that will be happening to her physically and mentally during pregnancy.
We often forget to give the mama-to-be tools in her toolbox to help advocate for herself with her physician, to remain calm in times where she is most outside of her comfort zone, and even to give her comfort without coming off as a "know-it-all".
Share this episode with all of the mamas-to-be & women who might be considering having a baby. It's one of those conversations with girlfriends that leave you feeling empowered, informed, and not at all exhausted because we did the leg work for you!
What was the most unexpected thing you've experienced/heard about in pregnancy?

Do you ever look at your husband and think "damn, I wish I was a dad"?
Traditional gender roles don't quite hold as much space as they used to so why are we still looking at dads as being the secondary parent?
Why are moms shown less grace when it comes to average parenting "mishaps" when compared to dads?
We only manage to scratch the surface of a conversation that needs to be had as a society.
Dads are the parent too. Full stop.
Dr. William Chin along with his wife Amanda sat down with us (virtually) to chat about all the key info when it comes to taking care of our children's teeth from babyhood & beyond.
The married duo are owners of Norwood Dental Center in Edmonton, AB and are parents to a toddler and soon-to-be newborn! Safe to say they get the toddler toothbrushing struggle.
If you are like us and have all the questions about how a dental visit will look for your kiddo, or if you should be flossing their teeth, or if they are capable of brushing their teeth independently at their age, then this is the episode to save and reference over time as your child grows.
What are some parent tricks and hacks that have worked to get your kids to brush their teeth?

TANTRUMS
By now, we know that tantrums are caused due to a breakdown in communication. So how do we deal with them? How do we prevent them from happening? How do we keep ourselves from going insane?
We're far from experts, but rather, just looking to share our experiences & ideas with you.
*HINT* you are teaching yourself how to regulate your emotions at the same time as you are teaching your child & the village that surrounds them.
What was your "aha" moment when it came to dealing with your child's tantrums? Tell us on the latest post:
