Movements that have altered modern history are due to the fact that God moved in individual lives to make a difference in the world around them. Ideas that don’t move people and inspire them to act have never changed individuals, let alone history. Movements are marked by a compelling vision for the future based on a strong set of convictions. Movements require a sacrifice where individuals put the vision ahead of their own agendas and convenience. Movements are also culture-changing and depend on culture-making leaders to rise up.  Forerunners of movements are those who dare to push against those boundaries to determine how resistant these constraints are to change.
