This is the first part of the David Parker Ray series. This will be a multi-part case, but the first part is solely a re-reading of the audio transcript that was played for each of his victims explaining in graphic detail every thing that he and his fiancé planned to do to them. Again, I apologize for the graphic nature of this re-reading but I felt that this was the only way to do this entire case justice. I have done an extremely deep dive into every episode and case for the podcast and I figured I wouldn't change things up just because this one is hard to listen to.

When Derek and Maria Broaddus bought their dream home for their little family of 5 to renovate and then move into. But, during the renovation process, the Broaddus family started getting super ominous letters in the mail from someone who claimed to be "The Watcher" of their house at 657 Blvd. This "Watcher" seemed to know more about the couple and their 3 kids than any of us would be comfortable with; especially considering they hadn't even moved into the house when the letters started. The writer of these letters has still never been named, and the case remains open to this day.

Jason and Brandi Worley lived a relatively normal life, with two beautiful kids.  Even though things weren't perfect at home, or within their marriage, things were never bad enough for this tragedy to take place. When Jason Worley took to Reddit for relationship advice, he took a lot of what other Reddit users had to say to heart. Sadly, when Jason finally informed his wife Brandi that he wanted a divorce after her continually being unfaithful to him.. She took things to the absolute most extremes, and murdered their two young children and then called 911 in the most emotionless 911 call that you've probably ever heard. This is the case of Brandi Worley AKA world's worst mom. (I've never been one for mom shaming, but this women doesn't even deserve to be called a mother, and I said what I said!)

In part 3 of the Chris Watts case series we run through the last week's that the Watts family stayed in NC, and what Chris was busy doing while the rest of his family was gone. Shan'ann was due to be in Arizona almost immediately after returning home from their 6 week Summer trip in NC. Shan'ann would attend her very last "Thrive" convention in Arizona before returning home in the early morning hours on August 13th. August 13th was the same day that Shan'ann, Bella, and CC were all 3 reported missing by one of Shan'ann's concerned "Thriving" girlfriends. Everyone begins to notice how unusual and unconcerned Chris is behaving for a man who's just found out that his entire family is missing... until a neighbor of the Watts Family invited investigators and Chris himself into his home to see if this neighbors home security system caught anything out of the usual. And shockingly enough? That home security system did catch someone doing something that they shouldn't have been doing.

This week on Momma Murdered A Podcast we'll be covering part 2 of the Chris Watts case. As we recount most of the emails and texts sent back and forth between Chris Watts and his mistress, Nichol Kessinger. We'll also run through the time-line of their relationship, and how it quickly progressed. And, during this time it becomes abundantly clear how the relationship between his actual wife deteriorated with every passing day that herself and their two daughters were out of town alone on a 6 week trip to North Carolina to visit both her own family and Chris' family. We end Part 2 with Chris meeting his family at the airport to join them for the 5th week of their 6 week trip.
