  • MOMocrats MOMochat: After Colorado, Can We Come Together?
The Presidential race took a respectful breather last week in the wake of the horrific massacre in Colorado. And then, it was back to business as usual. Mitt Romney is on his way to the Olympics, reminding us how he shepherded the Salt Lake City games to solvency. At least, that's the story. The records from those games are as shrouded in secrecy as Mitt's tax returns.

  • MOMocrats MOMochat: What Is Mitt Romney Trying to Hide?
When he was running for President in the 1960's, George Romney made 12 years of his tax returns public. The elder Romney made his fortune running an auto company, and while he COULD have taken advantage of tax loopholes that benefit the wealthy, he chose to contribute to the welfare of the United States of America.
Mitt Romney is an acorn that's fallen very, very far from the tree.
Also: a look at what the recent heat wave has done to this year's corn crop (BRACE YOURSELF: the cost of food is about to go up AGAIN. And don't let anyone tell you it's because of the President's economic policies -- the culprit is CLIMATE CHANGE, pure and simple.)
Discussion by Cynematic, Karoli, Jaelithe Judy and Donna Schwartz Mills.

  • MOMocrats MOMochat: Independence from Healthcare Tyranny
It is a happier July 4th this year, thanks to SCOTUS ruling that Obamacare is consitutional. MOMocrats Cynematic, Karoli and Donna Schwartz Mills are joined by Erin Kotecki Vest, whose debilitating fight to overcome lupus is the perfect example of how healthcare reform will enable middle class families to survive the diagnosis of a life-threatening disease or chronic condition.
