November 5 is less than four weeks away, and the Harris-Walz campaign has shifted into high gear, blitzing the media with appearances on 60 Minutes, Jimmy Kimmel, the View, Howard Stern, Univision and podcast Call Her Daddy. MOMocrats Karoli, Aliza Worthington, and Donna Schwartz Mills discuss the campaign, its incredible energy, and weirdly close polling numbers. They also talk about this year's deadly hurricane season, with Milton barreling into Florida this evening. MOMocrats MOMochat is part of the Demcast family of podcasts.

Today's episode was recorded prior to the news that Liz is not the only Cheney voting for Kamala Harris - or that the former Congresswoman will be campaigning in Texas for Colin Allred. But North Dakota Senate candidate Katrina Christensen (https://www.katrinaforussenate.com) returned to give an update on her surging campaign - and it was a welcome distraction from the Apalachee High School shooting (which JD Vance termed just a "fact of life"). MOMocrats Karoli, Aliza Worthington, and Donna Schwartz Mills had a response to that - and the newly announced DOJ investigation of Russian funding of conservative influencers.

This week in Chicago, the Democrats held a convention to remember. And We're Not Going Back - which is one of the best campaign slogans we've ever heard. MOMocrats Karoli, Aliza Worthington, and Donna Schwartz Mills bask a little bit more in the DNC, the nomination of Kamala Harris, and the work that lies ahead.

The Kamala Harris-Tim Walz campaign has been described as a "vibe." And the MOMocrats agree: "We are vibing HARD." Karoli, Aliza Worthington, and Donna Schwartz Mills discuss the campaign, how the media is covering it, and Trump low-energy response. (Alas, this episode was recorded before we learned what JD Vance thinks of post-menopausal women.)
The MOMocrats also looked at the many affiliate Harris support groups, (including Evangelicals for Harris), previewed next week's DNC Convention and talked about President Biden's legacy. MOMocrats MOMochat is part of the Demcast family of podcasts.

The new Kamala Harris campaign continued its flawless launch through the swing states this week, beginning with the announcement of running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. MOMocrats Karoli, Aliza Worthington, and Donna Schwartz Mills talk about Walz' "Big Dad Energy," GOP attempts to Swift Boat him, MAGA's sad attempts to take back the spotlight... and feeling joy again - despite lingering anger over how it all came down.

Kamala Harris is now the presumptive Democratic nominee. Joe Biden's successful prisoner swap deal proves he's our greatest living President. And Donald Trump and JD Vance are just weird. MOMocrats Karoli, Aliza Worthington, and Donna Schwartz Mills recount the last week in politics. Part of the Demcast family of podcasts.

Democrats all over the country are experiencing something weird: OPTIMISM, fueled by their excitement over the presidential candidacy of Kamala Harris. "It feels like 2008 again," says MOMocrat Karoli, who is keeping her Dark Brandon sign in her background, because he's the reason why this is happening the way it is. Aliza Worthington and Donna Schwartz Mills join her to talk about the Harris campaign, the historic Zoom organizing calls that keep breaking the Internet, as well as the JD Vance memes that have made social media funny again.

MOMocrats Karoli, Aliza Worthington, and Donna Schwartz Mills are all in on supporting Kamala Harris for President. But first: They have more than a few words to say about the events that led to President Biden's surprise announcement on Sunday. And some of them are profane.

This was the week our election craziness went into overdrive: A Trump rally became the site of an assassination attempt (that tragically killed a spectator). The Republicans held their National Convention in Milwaukee, with all the spectacle and weirdness that goes along with that. And the pundit class continued what appears to be a coordinated campaign to push President Joe Biden out of his nomination - with help from Democratic Party donors and elected officials. MOMocrats Karoli, Aliza Worthington, and Donna Schwartz Mills discuss. Also: the best political ad we've seen in a long time, from North Dakota Senate candidate Katrina Christiansen (who is currently polling ahead of her Republican opponent.)

The MOMocrats welcome Katrina Christiansen, to talk about her campaign for US Senate in North Dakota.
This was a welcome distraction from the continuing chaos stemming from President Biden’s disastrous debate performance. The President’s NATO press conference showed the audience some of the depth of his foreign policy expertise. But it was not enough to appease the media, political insiders, and nervous Democratic lawmakers who are urging him to drop out of his re-election campaign.
President Biden is adamant that he is not quitting the race - and MOMocrats Karoli, Aliza Worthington, and Donna Schwartz Mills support his decision (see 1968, 1980, and other elections when “Democrats in disarray” resulted in huge GOP wins).
The MOMocrats have a lot of questions and curse words about the media narrative, polling, and the motivation of big money donors as the Biden campaign works to pull everything back together.
