Mary Agnes Moroney, just two years old in 1930. was the daughter of Catherine and Michael Moroney. The family lived in Chicago IL and like many families of the era, were having a hard time getting by during the Great Depression.

With life being tough, Michael decided to put out an ad in the paper looking for any help the family could get with regards to materials / volunteers who could help them. Enter Julia Otis, a caregiver who offered to assist with Mary and provide the family with groceries. Unfortunately for the Moroney family, Julia Otis was not what she seemed and the next day Mary was gone and all that was left behind was a note stating that the two had gone to California and that they would be back in two months.

Scary enough as this was, it was a second letter the family recieved that truly chilled their bones. It was penned by Julia Otis cousin, and it stated…

Adolfo Costanzo, a Cuban-American Cult Leader and Black Magic practitioner, managed to weave his sorcery into the world of the Mexican Cartels. Costanzo would perform rituals involving animal sacrifice to appease demons that would assist with the cartels “work”.

April 1, 1902

In April of 1902. Belle Gunness happily married her second husband (her first mysteriously passed away), Peter Gunness and they lived happily ever after…not! Got ya, ha.

Peter’s infant from a prior marriage would suddenly die mysteriously and not too long after, Peter would discover the same fate, being crushed to death by a meat grinder that fell on his head (Gunness words, not mine).

After recieving life insurance from her two previous husbands, Belle started listing ads in the paper looking for more men to bring to her farm and totally not hurt them, she swears.

On April 28, 1908, a fire consumed the farmhouse where Belle lived. After sifting through the rubble, local authorities found multiple dead bodies, including one of a beheaded woman. The authorities were satisfied that the woman was belle and that a tragic accident had taken her life…

until the other 42 bodies showed up…

In the 20’s and 30’s New York City was the epicenter of Organized Crime, Speakeasy’s, and Bootlegging. In the Bronx, there was a bar owned by Tony Marino that was known by the locals as a place where you could drink away your sorrows. This is precisely what avid bar patron Mike Malloy did every night.

Unbeknownst to Malloy, Tony Marino was a murderer who had devised a scheme of writing false life insurance claims on downtrodden New Yorkers and then murdering them to collect the payout. Malloy, being a drunkard with no family, was the perfect target for Malloy and his “Murder Trust” (a group of men who assisted in the murders for a cut of the profits).
