Moody Presents

Moody Bible Institute Founder's Week happens each year about this time. As the chill winds blow across our campus right downtown Chicago, we are reminded of our Founder D.L Moody and how he celebrated his birthday with a sleigh ride for the students of his day. Well today, we celebrate our Founder's birthday with a week-long Bible conference! Would you join us now for our continued Founder's Week retrospective in which we will listen to Knowing Christ, Part 2. This a 2013 message by Dr. Paul Nyquist, on this episode of Moody Presents.

From the Moody Bible Institute we bring you highlights from Founders Week, our annual bible teaching conference celebrated each year right around D.L. Moody's Birthday. Certainly a birthday celebration is important, but what would resonate with D.L's heart is the teaching of God's Word. In-depth study is exactly what we will do for the next six weeks together in a message series featuring the keynote messages from the last three years of our Founder's Week Conference. If you'd like to check out more about this conference visit Foundersweek.org. For now let's get straight to the teaching!

Much of the Christian life is black and white with clearly defined right and wrong. But then, there are those gray areas and for that we join Dr. Paul Nyquist in the very last message of our 1 Corinthians series. Unfortunately, as our culture changes we will have more and more issues that put us in the gray zone. How to stay Godly in the gray zone. You’ll want to hear this important message right now!

Does living under the loving grace of God mean that we can go on sinning? The answer to this question plagued the early church as it does us today. Join Dr. Paul Nyquist for our continued study of I Corinthians for a deep study into repentance as learned from the old testament. A fascinating study that can be downloaded and listened to at your convenience right here.

As our study in I Corinthians continues, Dr. Nyquist will show us how the Apostle Paul used the Old Testament and the history of the Israelites to teach what it means to live under the law, under grace and with a view toward heaven. Let's learn more about the process of becoming more like Jesus Christ as we walk this earth, on the this week's edition of Moody Presents.
