Mord to Go startet den März ziemlich toxisch. In diesem Monat dreht sich nämlich alles um das Thema Giftmorde. Saskias Fall ist dabei weit entfernt von der traditionellen vergifteten Praline der Stiefmutter. Stattdessen zeigt sie, wie Giftmorde in den letzten Jahren immer mehr durch Medikamentenmissbrauch ersetzt wurden. 16 Monate Verzweiflung und unerfüllte Hoffnung enden in einer grausamen Gewissheit, die auf einmal so offensichtlich scheint…
Als kleinen Snack am Ende präsentiert Arabella noch stolz ihre thematisch passenden Lernzettel und gibt Saskia ein giftiges Versprechen für die nächste Folge.

Zur letzten Folge des Jahres meldet sich Mord To Go nochmal zurück mit einer Silvesterfolge. Dabei reden die beiden über Neujahrsvorsätze, ihre liebsten True Crime Entdeckungen des Jahres und was sie selbst für ein Verbrechen begehen würden, wenn sie nie erwischt würden.
Außerdem gibt es natürlich auch dieses Mal einen passenden Fall aus dem Jahr 1997: In Neuseeland wollten zwei Freunde zusammen mit 1500 weiteren Menschen den Beginn des neuen Jahres feiern. Leider zelebrierten sie stattdessen den letzten Tag ihres Lebens ohne es zu Wissen. Was damals wirklich passiert ist und wer hinter dem Verschwinden von Olivia Hope und Ben Smart steckt wirft auch heute noch Rätsel auf.
Arabella und Saskia verabschieden sich damit vom Jahr 2021, wünschen euch einen guten Rutsch und freuen sich auf viele neue Folgen 2022!
Mord To Go ist zurück mit einem Weihnachtsspecial! Arabella und Saskia reden über ihre liebsten Weihnachtstraditionen, lösen das Rätsel, warum sie solange verschollen waren und sind fast ein bisschen aufgeregt nach so einer langen Pause. Außerdem gibt es aber natürlich einen passenden Fall zum Anlass (ab 16:00 Minuten), der auch noch 76 Jahre später Fragen aufwirft.
So harmonisch wie das Lied “Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht” ging es 1945 nämlich leider nicht bei der Familie Sodder zu, dessen Leben in dieser Nacht des Heiligabends eine dramatische Wendung nehmen sollte. Was ist damals wirklich geschehen? Handelte es sich um ein simples Unglück oder steckt doch mehr hinter dem Schicksal der Familie?

Ein Mann, besessen von der Überzeugung, dass seine Frau und ihr Arbeitgeber in illegale Geschäfte der Geldwäsche involviert sind, muss nach einer eskalierten Auseinandersetzung in den Maßregelvollzug, um sich und andere zu schützen. Nur so könne man ihm helfen, denn dem Patienten fehlt leider jegliche Krankheitseinsicht. Doch nach 5 Jahren Aufenthalt in der Psychiatrie wendet sich genau dieser heimlich durch Videos an die Öffentlichkeit: Er behauptet, dass man ihn so still halten wolle und er zu unrecht gefangen gehalten wird. Wie viel Wahrheit steckt hinter den Aussagen des Beschuldigten? Handelte es sich tatsächlich um eine Fehleinschätzung?
In der neuen Folge von Mord to Go beleuchten Arabella und Saskia die Hintergründe des Falls von Gustl Mollath. Außerdem sprechen sie über die Prinzipien und die Gesetzesgrundlage des Maßregelvollzugs und was getan wird, um die Bevölkerung zu schützen: Sowohl die Patienten als auch das Allgemeinwohl.
In dieser Folge dreht sich alles um ein falsches Geständnis, welches einem unschuldigen Mann seine besten Jahre kostete und um eine Familie, deren größter Albtraum zur Realität wurde.
31 Jahre lang verbrachte Dirk K. eingesperrt, ohne eine Stimme dafür zu bekommen, was wirklich am 22. April 1985 geschah. Das Geständnis eines anderen Mannes sollte ihn retten, den Fall jedoch nicht lösen...
Arabella beweist in dieser Folge, dass ein falsches Geständnis selbst als True-Crime-Profi nicht unwahrscheinlich wäre und das unsere Fähigkeit, Wahrheit und Lüge auseinanderzuhalten kaum von einem zufälligen Münzwurf zu unterscheiden ist.
In dieser Folge ist alles anders: Während Arabellas Fall zu Beginn fast Comedypotential hat, nimmt das Schicksal zweier unschuldiger Menschen eine abrupte Wendung!
Auf einer Insel gestrandet soll nicht das Glück der Helfer in der Not sein, sondern skrupelloses Handeln.
Saskia stellt dabei die wichtigsten Survival Tipps für den Fall der Fälle vor! Ob Arabella und Saskia auf einer einsamen Insel überleben würden zeigt ein spannendes Quiz am Ende (ab Minute 47:53).
Die erste Folge nach der Sommerpause! Passend zum Thema dreht sich Saskias heutiger Fall um das Thema Urlaub.
Eine junge Frau will ihren Freund mit einem wohlverdienten Urlaub in Ägypten überraschen, doch ihre Spontanität führt dazu, dass sie den Urlaub fatalerweise allein antreten muss.
Statt Erholung, Strand und Sonne erfährt sie Gewalt, Angst und Verzweiflung.
Arabella versucht am Ende der Folge das “Warum?” des Falls und dessen Hintergründe zu deuten, wobei Drogen und Menschenhandel leider keine wagen Vermutungen zu sein scheinen.
In der letzten Folge vor der Sommerpause geht es bei Mord To Go nochmal um medizinisches Personal, welches seine Berufsqualifikation zum Leid der Patienten ausgenutzt hat. Sebastian Lindt begann 2003 auf der Station "Innere 1" im schönen Sonthofen zu arbeiten, doch machte sich durch seine Handlungsfehler schnell unbeliebt auf Station. Die kann auch durch mehrere Beschwerden bei der Pflegedienstleitung nichts erreichen, ohne selbst ins Visier zu geraten. Dann fällt auf, dass viel mehr Medikamente bestellt als ärztlich angeordnet werden und trotzdem Arzneimittel von Station verschwinden. Schnell gerät Sebastian in den Verdacht. Aber was steckt hinter diesen Diebstählen? Will der neue Kollege seine Hausapotheke auffüllen oder übersieht ein ganzes professionelles Team etwas viel Schlimmeres?
Inhaltlich erklärt Saskia, was Exhumierung sind und warum es manchmal notwendig ist die Totenruhe zu stören.

In dieser Folge zeigt sich, wie sehr das Vertrauen in einen Menschen zerschmettert werden kann, wenn dieser es auf eine grausame Art missbraucht. Ärzte haben die Aufgabe zu heilen, doch in diesem Fall wird der behandelnde Arzt zu einem erbarmungslosen Täter. Statt sich seiner Verantwortung zu stellen, nimmt er die Geschichten mehrerer Frauen und deren Hoffnung auf Gerechtigkeit mit ins Grab.
Arabella erklärt, welche Grenzen Ärzten und Ärztinnen sowohl moralisch als auch rechtlich gesetzt sind. Dabei liegt der Grad zwischen dem richtigen Tun und sich für das Falsche entscheiden manchmal so nah beieinander, dass medizinisches Personal in gewisser Weise immer mit einem Fuß im Gefängnis steht.
Kennt ihr den Lügenbaron Münchhausen? In dieser Folge von Mord to Go probiert Saskia, mit aller Mühe Arabella mit einem seiner berühmten Lügengeschichten zum Lachen zu bringen. Für die Geschichten dieses Mannes, der auch Namensgeber des Münchhausen Stellvertretersyndroms ist, reisten schließlich schon früher viele Menschen durch das gesamte Land...
Weniger witzig folgt jedoch Arabellas Fall (ab 05:30), in dem sie zeigt, wie unendlich und bedrohlich die Beziehung zwischen Mutter und Kind sein kann. Durch eine nicht enden wollende Tortur von Krankenhausaufenthalten, Untersuchungen und Operationen ging einer Frau nicht nur ihre Kindheit verloren, sondern ihr gesamtes Leben wurde geprägt... Wer ist in diesem Fall die kranke Person? Mutter oder Tochter?
Außerdem versucht Saskia zu erklären, wie eine solche Tat so lang unentdeckt bleiben konnte und wie ein medizinischer Beruf auch plötzlich zur Detektivarbeit werden kann...
