If there is one thing that gets me less excited about life than some raging religious fundamentalist shouting at me about the love of their god, that one thing is a bunch of billionaires going on and on about space exploration. Apart from discussing their next tax cut, this is all that wealthy people seem to talk about anymore. The space race used to be about asserting political power in global affairs, but now it just seems to be about the race for which wealthy person has the largest ego. And so I have begun to hear of more and more people that just are not interested in going to space to shine shoes for Jeff Bezos. Let's face it, anywhere rich human beings go, they bring their boring jobs with them and, inevitably, it will be people like me who have to do this menial labor. Of course, if life is going to exactly like it is on this planet on another planet, then the obvious question becomes why leave the planet at all or even talk about it for that matter? But you do not have to take my word for it. It turns out that many Americans share my opinion of the great billionaire's club in the sky. It appears as if, in a recent poll conducted by Morning Consult, Americans were far more interested in the protection of the planet earth than they were in exploring the far and beyond. In that poll, out of a list of twenty six issues the American people were asked to rank as most important for the Biden administration to tackle, space exploration scored a paltry and rather unimpressive twenty-fifty out of twenty six. It is difficult to say exactly why this is, but I have a feeling that once you allow the people who pollute the planet so carelessly so that they can hoard money and watch others starve to shoot off to the moon, normal people just stop caring. And it seems as if that is what has happened. Even when people were told that they could go to space for free, the majority of Americans, a shocking 58% to be exact, just were not that interested in leaving the planet to hang out with their snobbish landlords on Mars. I cannot really blame them. Billionaires kind of seem like the kind of people who would broker a deal with Congress to buy out your space settlement or at least jack up the rent on it. Seriously, why do rich people think that we care about their interest in space exploration enough to have the government raise taxes on us to fund their little alien romances. Can't these rich snobs just watch Star Trek and read comic books like normal science fiction fans? Do we really have to wast billions of dollars on their live action role playing? Let's be honest here, if you are poor in America, you ain't go the time to sit around fantasizing about the next great American conquest. You have to be down at the food bank by four pm, otherwise you will have to wait in life for an hour for those free chicken drumsticks. I still remember the days of walking, sometimes for miles, to get a box of food for me and my family. I remember getting on the bus with this huge box of goods so I could take it home for my family to eat. I remember the embarrassment that came along with that experience too. I also remember the bus driver passing up my stop and then having to get out, find a grocery cart left on the side of the street by some other poor person, and having to push that for about three miles until I finally got home. I remember being worried that some white person would call the cops on me for pushing a cart of food home too. I also remember all the hospital bills and financial aid debt that had to pile up in order for that experience to even happen. I remember working for peanuts too. I remember rich people laughing at me for not being more like them. The point is that, if I am just going to be poor and there is no real way out of it, then why even care about space? If I go to space, then I will be poor there too. So, no, I don't care what wealthy people do with their spending money. Go to space if you want, but I ain't going.
People constantly demand positivity from one and other, all the time, twenty-four seven. It never ends. Everyone is too negative, according to everyone else anyway. But is that really the case? Has the world around us somehow become a constant crisis of pettiness and abuse? Or is this just our perception? A kind of projection we put upon others to protect ourselves from complex anxieties. Is the world out to get us or are we afraid that it may not be? Could it be that the world is, in fact, indifferent to us and that we are the ones forcing the world to be negative because that is what we really want it to be? Is our concern with the moods of others really healthy or is it just downright nosy? Why do we have demands of others who we hardly know? It is as if we are all directors, ordering the extras in our big Hollywood film to get into their places before the big scene. We all place a spotlight on ourselves. We live in a world where we are the stars of a movie that no one but us is watching and we just happen to be our own worst critics. I mean, how dare other people not be happy during the Holiday parties we throw for them? The nerve! Just think of all the work we put into that party and then they have the nerve to have the wrong facial expression or say the wrong line during our big scene. Then there are those ungrateful kids of ours, having the audacity to complain about the perfect dinner we made. That is not how the script we wrote before cooking the dinner is supposed to turn out. A child who was playing their part right in your big film, would know damn well that they should never spit out your food. You wrote very specifically in the stage directions that they are supposed to love your cooking and thank you every time the food hits their little tongues. All this talk of it being too spicy or too bland is simply not in the screenplay. Cut! Let’s try it again from the top little ones! Then just look at your significant other, sitting there playing video games again. That’s not what adults do in your romantic comedy. Did they even read the script you wrote for them? Probably not, the ungrateful bastard. They are supposed to be writing you love sonnets or composing classical symphonies in your holy honor. How dare they not treat you like the Queen or King you really are? You spent a lot of time on the script, and, damn it, they should know better than to not memorize their lines. The point I am making here is that, the real reasons you feel people are being negative are quite dubious and downright manipulative. Your world is centered around your feelings, your thoughts, your urges, your desires. You are the one assuming others are behaving incorrectly. You are the one that has decided that others are a stick in the mud. But are they really? Or is it just that you do not share their interests? You are listening to your inner monologue and your inner monologue is full of what you would call negativity: critique, mistrust, misgivings, ungratefulness, disdain for what is different, hatred for what is not perfect, disgust for what is not polite; demand after demand after demand. But you are the only one that ever hears this inner monologue. It is torturing you. It’s all about you and your feelings. It was never anyone else. So calling a person negative is not at all a statement of fact; it is your opinion. You cannot be inside of someone else’s head. You can only view the world from your perspective. But one thing you can do is remind yourself of this. Remind yourself that, though your big movie is still important, it is not the only thing that is important. Remind yourself that the world will not always be about what you want, that you must give others some time in your spotlight as well. After all, a director can be as great as they want, but no one will come to see the show without the actors and camera crew. Now get out there and win yourself that Oscar kid. I always knew you were going to be a big star. And action!
Almost every day now I hear some whiz kid trying to sell me on the idea that we should have IQ tests for political leaders to determine whether or not they are fit to lead the nation. This idea is mostly promoted by supporters of mainstream corporate democrats, the same corporate democrats that saw to it that you won’t get any expansion of job benefits by the way, who are scared to pieces that Trump will be president again. Of course these people have failed to realize that faking results on such a test would be quite easy to do. But I am not even going to go there because I do not have to. All I have to do is defer to the fact that cunning, ruthless, despotic leaders have mostly all had high IQs. If you do not believe me all you have to do is look at the Nazi regime and see that many of the higher ups scored well on IQ tests. Even Donald Trump scored well on his IQ test. So why are Trump’s supposed enemies now calling for the same test that despots have used to separate the good stock from the bad stock for the purposes of genocide and enslavement? Probably because social Darwinism, the idea that we can perfect the human race through selective breeding by pairing others with high IQs, good health, excellent grades and good genes, never really went away in America. In fact, I would argue that it has only grown in popularity ever since its creation. Social Darwinism, of course, was quite popular amongst most American Capitalists because it promotes “survival of the fittest” a term first coined by social Darwinist Herbert Spencer a full seven years before Charles Darwin published his Origin of Species. All over the supposedly “liberal” twitter sphere you will hear so called liberals saying that survival of the fittest is weeding out the conservatives who are refusing to get themselves vaccinated, most likely without understanding the term’s racist origins. Spencer believed that competition was most important and that those who could not or would not ruthlessly compete with others deserved to sit and spin. "Society advances," Spencer wrote, "where its fittest members are allowed to assert their fitness with the least hindrance." He went on to argue that the unfit should "not be prevented from dying out." Wow, well, isn’t that cute? Isn’t that grand? Liberal America is using a term that promotes killing others who may not be as smart as them or who may just not be as interested in philosophy as they are. Why do they believe that knowledge will save them from dictatorship? Germany was a very intelligent nation before Hitler ran in there and grabbed power. Pre Nazi Germany was an intellectual paradise and yet they were usurped by brute force, mostly because they refused to recognize the threat of social Darwinism, much like the United States is doing today. Spencer was also against welfare of any kind, and, much like the Democrats and Republicans of the day, considered welfare to the poor and needy to encourage laziness and vice. He opposed public schooling and even was against public health codes because he believed disease to be a natural occurrence that was meant to kill off those weaker than him. Were Spencer alive today, he would applaud Democrats and Republicans alike for allowing the poor to starve and for supporting testing of leaders to make sure that they have, as Trump stated, “the right stuff” to lead. Those who are arguing for these stupid IQ tests obviously did not pay attention in history class. Indeed, they are the ones who should be kept far away from leadership because, if they had their way, no one with even the slightest bit of compassion or empathy, which IQ tests cannot measure, would ever become a leader of note again. This lazy brand of politics must not only be ignored, it must be attacked, discouraged and mocked. We cannot allow those who would have a test measure the suitability of a leader to dictate actual policy. If this happens we are doomed to be a fascist nation. Truth hurts. Idiocy kills.
Some celebrities stink...literally. The anti-bathing crowd is trending again and you can smell it coming from a mile away. It reeks in here and we have celebrities to thank for it. A list celebrities like Ashton Kutcher and Jake Gyllenhal have shamelessly promoted the anti-bathing gospel, during a deadly pandemic no less. Live and let smell, they have shouted from their celebrity mountain tops, spreading nonsense notions that humans "naturally clean themselves" and that children do not need to bathe until they stink. This insanity is leftover from the hippie movement of course, where thousands of young people rebelled about the vile male patriarchal oppression of cleanliness. Many hippies, not all, prided themselves on living a more natural life and that often meant not using soap with "chemicals". The all natural approach to life was born during the hippie movement. This naive idea that we should abandon everything labeled "traditional" (everyone has a different meaning for the term "traditional" by the way, which makes the word kind of meaningless) like marriage, having kids or living in houses, often leads to uncleanliness or at least the glorification of lifestyles that, without much hard work and a lot of money, can very much end up promoting improper hygiene practices. Many hippies wanted to use drugs that were "natural" and "from the earth" for example. So they ended up choosing LSD over their prescriptions and the results to this were not so great. Of course it is very easy, when you have a lot of money, to promote these crackpot theories, to pretend that the laws of proper health do not apply to you, that you can sit around smoking cigarettes and dropping acid all day without ever showering. This idea that we should question and challenge every single social norm dates back to this counter cultural revolution, this idea that you can change the world by denying yourself even basic luxuries like soap and shampoo. I am ashamed to admit that not bathing is still big here in California. It reminds people of the 60s I guess; ah yes, the 1960s, a simpler time, a smellier time where white people ignored their problems by escaping into the woods to have sweaty sex with each other during a flu outbreak. The celebrities of today are trying to recreate the counter culture movement from the 1960s, but they are far more in it for the profit than the groovy experiences. Did you know, for example, that not bathing has been proven to rapidly spread bacteria, cause yeast infections and can cause athlete's foot? I wonder why our celebrity friends, who just so happen to also promote various skin and anti-bacterial products, would instruct us to harm ourselves in this manner. It is almost as if they think so little of us that they believe we are stupid enough to get all kinds of skin infections and blemishes (yes, both are caused by not bathing; by the way, the acne that adults get because of not bathing is not simply acne, but legions in the face or torso caused by, you guessed it, bacterial infections), and, unfortunately, that have been correct about our level of gullibility thus far. Many people reject bathing now because of these overfed buffoons. I am happy to report that this is mostly a rich white kid phenomenon and that it has yet to spread into communities of color. And why would it? Our parents raise us not to stink because they know they luxury of rolling out of bed in the morning and heading to work smelling like rotten onions is specifically reserved for white people. I mean it too. I remember this one guy I acted with; he absolutely reeked! The boss wouldn't say anything to him about it either until a bunch of people complained. There is something about being rich and white in America. It does weird things to your brain. It makes you think that germs don't exist, that rooting around in the dirt is cool as long as your heart is in the right place. Soon white people will stink like the laws Congress passes.
Conspiracy theories are like a fine wine: they’re old, pretty boring and they’ll only make you feel good for one night before you start to get a headache. They also attract a bunch of uneducated dolts who thrive on appearing smart in front of those who know less than them. There is nothing productive or useful about conspiracy theories. They simply allow frail little snowflakes who refuse to grow up an opportunity to pretend that they do research, to pretend that their opinions matter, to pretend that they are intelligent when they are just plain dumb. You see them in the comment section on social media every day. They are talking about the next coming Civil War or the next coming celebrity necromancy or the next coming end of the world. Whatever it is, it is just a way for people who are irrelevant to feel relevant, for people who are nothing more than believers to appear intellectual. But there is nothing smart about these people other than the smart phones they use to speak with their equally stupid, equally frail, equally irrelevant friends. People still refuse to shame these people; they continue to argue that there is room for reconciliation and unification with these idiots. They do so to their own detriment. I will not lower myself to the level of infantile selfishness that these people hover at so that I can kiss their boos boos and make them feel special. I will leave that to the so-called rational folks who enjoy dicking around on twitter. You can debate a moron all you like; they will leave the debate even dumber than they were originally. Why? Because you have just provided them with an example of how people will attack their theories and so they will go home, do more stupid research and come out with even more stupid answers for the next time someone challenges them. People only seek out facts that support their theories so this debating does absolutely nothing apart from wasting time. My time is too valuable to waste on dullards. Had we shamed these people early on, had we simply recognized that they are dumb, we would be a lot better off today. There would have been no Trump and you might actually have an infrastructure bill that was a worth a damn. But because you are so hell bent on being empathetic with these people, you are being forced to listen to them ramble on about their idiotic theories in your classrooms. Good old pretend liberal California recently had a teacher in Ventura County scream antivaxx comments and bullshit claims about fixed elections to her middle school students in the classroom. If you think that stupidity means you are inefficient politically, then you have not been paying attention. You become more political when you are dumb because you want everyone else to justify your dumb behavior. The only way to do this is to make others equally dumb as you are. And so I will continue to fight the only holy war in human history, the war against disinformation. I will fight this war with full force and will never, ever apologize to any conspiracy theorist. It is not my fault that they are stupid, nor is it my fault that the government allowed them to become stupid by refusing to pass comprehensive education reform. The capitulation must stop. The cowardice must end. Conspiracy theorists are dumb, stupid, ignorant, moronic, ridiculous, beasts of burden who deserved to be mocked, maligned and ignored before their idiocy causes another pandemic or another mass shooting. So join me and laugh at these chuckle heads before they rewrite history and have the last laugh themselves. It is not just a fringe thing that will go away with time. They get worse with time. Politicians latch onto them and use them to disrupt our health and education systems so that they can create chaos, maintain control or both, as we are now seeing in states like Texas and Florida. You can believe whatever you want. Sure, but you cannot escape the ridicule you will get from me for believing instead of knowing.
Most people know that white roses represent purity because they are often used in weddings, and, even though the whole virginity till marriage thing has become quite passé, purity, for some odd reason, is still something that many strive for. But the white rose represents so much more than just a vain attempt at emotional perfection: youthfulness, innocence, young love, and loyalty are all symbolized by the white rose. The black rose, on the other hand, often chosen for funerals, is a symbol of death and mourning. What you may not know is that the black rose is not actually the color black, but an extremely dark shade of red or purple. But why do we assign these meanings to white and “black” flowers when all flowers represent death? I mean, you killed the rose when you picked it after all. Roses have thorns to stop us from killing them, not for irony’s sake. So, really all roses and all flowers are a representation of mortality, a reminder that we will all perish. My mother hated roses of all colors for this very reason. All people, regardless of color, innocence or purity will also meet their end one day. We are the walking dead; there is no need for zombies. We are all walking, talking reminders of our inevitable meeting with death. So why is it that, when black people perish, very few take notice, but when white people meet the same fate, an entire news segments is devoted to it? Joy Reid sure did piss a lot of pretty white people with problems off when she recently said on MSNBC that, “The way this story captivated the nation has so many wondering, why not the same media attention when people of color go missing?... Well, the answer actually has a name: Missing White Woman Syndrome — the term coined by the late and great Gwen Ifill to describe the media and public fascination with missing White women like Laci Peterson or Natalee Holloway, while ignoring cases involving people of color.” White people across the world were shocked and aghast at such a statement. I mean, seriously, the nerve of that black woman on the TV talking crap about white people. How could she? What did they ever do to her? I will answer the question for you, but I wonder if you will actually listen to the answer or just huff and puff like so many pretty white people with problems do. Let’s find out. “Black girls and women go missing at high rates, but that isn't reflected in news coverage of missing persons cases. In 2020, of the 268,884 girls and women who were reported missing, 90,333, or nearly 34% of them, were Black, according to the National Crime Information Center…” Oh well, I’m sure the fair and balanced, totally unbiased, super duper college educated, absolutely perfect at all times media is letting you know about this stuff, right? “In light of these numbers, the disproportionate media attention on missing white girls and women is glaring.” (NPR) Uh-oh spaghetti-o’s! That’s right, Joy Reid was simply telling the truth. She did not lie, but she was defamed nonetheless. She was told that she stepped out of line, that she did not display proper candor. She was not polite enough. She forgot her place. White people are never supposed to be challenged by black people, even when the black person is simply stating a fact, that is not allowed, not ever, not even on MSNBC and certainly not on Fox News. How dare she? And isn’t it interesting that she too is a black woman, a black woman that was ignored and even attacked for simply stating the facts. I suppose that Joy Reid and all the other black and Indigenous women who go missing every year are just not pure and innocent enough for prime time. By the way, I’ll take two dozen black roses; I hear the white roses causes sudden bursts of anger, ignorance, apathy, and dishonesty. Besides, for all the whiteness that I lack, a more perfect beauty is found in all that’s black.
Oh, I am not done with R. Kelly yet. I had to break this one up into a two part episode because, well, when you are talking about a personality as big, loud and proud as R. Kelly, there is just too much information to squeeze into one podcast episode. But don't take my word for it. Just take a quick look at some of the crazy ass things R. Kelly has said and done throughout his career. I'm sourcing BET here from an article they wrote called, "Eleven Questionable Things R. Kelly Has Said and Done" and BET will cosign anything any black person with a lot of money does, so you know I am pulling punches here. "R. Kelly executive producing Aaliyah’s debut studio album, not to mention being featured lurking in the cut of the album’s cover... It’s now clear as day that the album’s title track, which was written by Kelly, was an ode to his love for underage women. To set the record straight, age is, in fact, more than a number." (BET). But it's all just cancel culture, right? BET is out to get black people that they have given awards to because...they want to lose money or something? This cancel culture thing gets pretty complicated and expensive I guess. Moving on, "While R. Kelly has come to be known as the “Pied Piper of R&B,” the true origin of the moniker is quite disturbing. For those unfamiliar with the tale, legend has it that the town of Hamelin, Germany, sought the pied piper’s help during a rat infestation in 1284. However, after the town reneged on their promise to pay the pied piper for his services, he led all the children away with his music, never to be seen again, just as he did the rats. The term pied piper is also defined as someone who induces others to follow or imitate him by means of false or extravagant promises." (BET). Interesting. Now that is really interesting. All of these references to young girls, children, secrecy and outright lies. So how did R. Kelly manage to stay so famous for such a long period of time. The answer is the black celebrity appeal. Black celebrities are, for some reason, often viewed as leaders of the black community, pillars of hope and righteousness and the black American way that we should all aspire to be right now before some old grumpy black parent figure comes along and beats us with a switch. But the reality is much more complicated. There are many black people like me who worship no one. Hell, some of us choose not to go to church specifically because we ain't worshiping no one, white or black. That is why I make episodes like this, to let you know that being critical of wealthy black people does not make you any less black than any other black person on the planet. I also do it to let black people know that they do not have to live vicariously through these people. If you are black and you are reading this, you are already so impressive because your family was likely stolen from their original country and sentenced to hard labor and no formal education, yet here you are reading this article, sitting in a nice house in the wealthiest nation in the world. Don't you get it yet? All these wonderful things that black celebrities are doing now would not even be popular if it were not for you! You make black celebrities; they just reap the benefits. I saw Dave Chapelle's special, not the whole thing, but clips of it, and there ain't nothing but black people in the whole damn audience. Look at R. Kelly's or Bill Cosby's or Chris Rock's old shows. You see any white people in the audience? Yeah, the police are there checking up on all the black people. We all work hard to get black celebrities to where they are going; we pay our money. White people didn't watch Chapelle's Show when it first premiered. That was us. So we have every right to critique these fools. We are black. We are beautiful and we have power. Why hide it? Because the pied piper of R&B will be uspet? Negro please!
At first glance, Jack Dorsey may not seem like a right wing fundamentalist. His promotion of intermittent fasting, his support of universal basic income and his banning of Donald J. Trump have even made the billionaire a hero in some liberal circles. But this liberal veneer has largely been marketed by Dorsey himself and he has done precious little to back up with any real action. Let us not forget that Donald Trump stayed on Twitter long after he had spread conspiracy theories and hate speech while Dorsey simultaneously purged several left leaning accounts. Calls for Trump to be banned from the platform began in 2017. What was Jack's response? Well, nothing. Instead Dorsey ignored the liberals screaming for Trump to be censored and instead proceeded to inform people of Twitter's "liberal bias". "We need to constantly show that we are not adding our own bias, which I fully admit is ... is more left-leaning," Dorsey says. Dorsey gave several interviews about his supposed "liberal bias" in publications like The Hill (famous for its exaggerations), The Washington Post, Fox News (famous for its bat shit craziness), and Mashable. In fact, Vox News ran an article in 2018 entitled "Twitter is So Liberal That Its Conservative Employees Don't Feel Safe Working There" to which at Jack responded, "I don't think that's fair or right." Hold on a second. If Jack has a liberal bias then why would he be ashamed of it? After all, he is one of the most successful businessmen to ever live. Owners of companies do not give a damn about the comfort level of their employees, especially not if they are exaggerating about "not feeling safe" because there are liberals around at a tech company in San Francisco, California, which just happens to be one of the most liberal cities in the world! Are you starting to smell the bullshit yet? I sure hope so because, boy, is it pungent! Why is Jack trying to protect conservatives feelings if he is so liberal? I'll tell you why. Because, as I have said before, there is no such thing as a "liberal" corporation. The pretense of liberalism in corporations is nothing more than an advanced marketing campaign to get young people on the platform. Once you have the hearts and minds of the youth, you can spread and sell whatever god awful nonsense you like as long as you shoot the occasional tweet out about free speech. But it turns out that Mr. Dorsey's version of free speech ain't so free after all. "An internal evaluation of Twitter’s recommendation algorithms concluded that they amplify right-leaning political content more than left-leaning content, company researchers announced Thursday, undercutting allegations by many conservatives who contend they are being censored on the platform." (The Washington Post). Liberal you say, hey? I think not. The article continues, “Our results reveal a remarkably consistent trend: In 6 out of 7 countries studied, the mainstream political right enjoys higher algorithmic amplification than the mainstream political left,” the researchers wrote in a 27-page report." Say it ain't so Jack. Or wait, never mind, don't lie again. You are not very good at it. "Twitter’s finding stands in contrast to allegations of censorship from conservatives who have accused Twitter, Facebook and other platforms of silencing their voices." Yeah, I'd say that's a bit of a contrast, wouldn't you? But don't tell Jack I said that. He might boot me off of Twitter again, along with your grandmother who wants lower prescription drug costs and your friend who just happened to take offense to the Chapelle special. Now bow down and pray to the almighty Dorsey that he might forgive you.
Malcolm X once said, "The first thing the cracker does when he comes in power, he takes all the Negro leaders and invites them for coffee to show that he’s all right, and those Uncle Toms can’t pass up the coffee. They come away from the coffee table telling you and me that this man is all right.” Almost everyday now some black celebrity somewhere says something that makes absolutely no sense. Honestly, this gem gave me a headache. “I feel like Dave (Chapelle) freed the slaves,” Wayans told TMZ on Monday. “The comedians, we were slaves to PC [political correctness] culture and he just, you know, as an artist he’s Van Gogh. Cut his ear off, he’s trying to tell us it’s OK. ”Wayans was asked if he feels more free to be himself in his comedy following the special. He responded that he’s “always been free.” “I just feel like he’s saying, ‘All that I have, I’m not afraid to lose it for the sake of freedom of speech. You can’t edit yourself,” Wayans continued. “Comedians, we’re like… Mercedes makes a great car. But they gotta crash a lot of them before they perfect it.” The comedian said there’s a “bigger conversation” that needs to be had." (Black Enterprise) Uh, okay...wait, what? Seriously, what the hell did Damon Wayans just try to say because I have no idea what the hell this man is talking about. Since when are millionaires slaves? When has that ever happened in history? When have millionaires not been allowed to say things? What the actual fuck is being said here? Rich people, whether black or white, enjoy vast amounts of privileges that people like me do not: they can not pay taxes, they can say whatever the hell they want to thunderous applause and they are free to insult the history of chattel slavery by reducing it to some idiotic "mental slavery" that does not even exist. Black celebrities love to do this. Whenever someone challenges them they claim that they are trying to save black people from "mental slavery" by saving their right to free speech. Okay, so where are the laws limiting speech in comedy clubs? What government has said that you can't tell jokes? What the hell are these people talking about? I find this insulting. It diminishes what real slavery was like. It makes the pain of my ancestors seem like a joke. Do you really think slaves fought for their freedom so that they could tell jokes to white people in night clubs? Most Black people cannot afford to go to these expensive ass shows. So who the hell is Wayans trying to save from slavery? White affluent people who are the only ones who can afford to frequent comedy clubs? "Someone needs to look us in the eye and say, ‘You’re no longer free in this country. You’re not free to say what you want, you say what we want you to say. Otherwise we will cancel you,’” Wayans said. “That’s the discussion we should have.” (Black Enterprise) Again, what the hell is this fool talking about? The Netflix special by Dave Chapelle is still up. No one took it down. Chapelle was never censored. Want proof? Here you go. "A few days after the release of “The Closer,” Chappelle performed at the Hollywood Bowl, where he commented on the pushback following a standing ovation, according to the Hollywood Reporter. “If this is what being canceled is like, I love it,” Chappelle said." (Black Enterprise). Seriously, what the hell is going on here? You get to complain about being canceled while not being canceled now? This is beyond ridiculous. I suggest you take Malcolm X's advice and stop worshiping these uncle toms for your own sake.
