Erica grew up in the beautiful foothills of the Rockies, in Monument, Colorado. She attended Wheaton College in Illinois and received a degree in Elementary Education. During the summer between her junior and senior year of college, she went on her first overseas mission trip to South Africa. While holding dusty kids covered in rags and ministering to women with aids, her dream of becoming a missionary began. However, the journey to becoming a full-time missionary was not easy and included various setbacks and disappointments. Yet, God has shown Himself faithful and brought redemption to her journey through opening a door at CRI. Erica is honored and excited to help develop our various sponsorship programs so that more people living in deep poverty can experience the love of Christ.
