In this episode of the Mornings with My Muse podcast, we're finally coming out of the closet and sharing why we're voting for Trump in 2024. We cover important topics like being pro-life and advocating for the protection of babies in the womb, and why this stance is central to our vote. We also dive into self-pay healthcare and how it empowers individuals to take control of their medical decisions. Entrepreneurship and supporting small businesses are at the heart of economic freedom, and we believe conservative policies support that vision.
Additionally, we discuss the troubling history of the Democratic Party and Planned Parenthood, particularly their harmful effects on Black communities. The Democratic Party was historically pro-slavery and opposed the Civil Rights Movement, while Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, sought to control the birth rates of Black Americans. We believe foundations are important and that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Join us as we explain why being conservative aligns most with us as believers.

In this episode, "Hustle Culture vs Rest: Why Working Harder Won’t Make You Successful In This Economy", we dive deep into our personal experience with burnout this past year. Like many, we felt the crushing pressure of today's economy—dealing with inflation, rising interest rates, family responsibilities, and the constant societal push to work harder. But instead of achieving more, it left us feeling completely drained and exhausted.
We realized we were striving from a place of scarcity rather than working from a place of rest and peace. This isn’t the way God intended it. Hustle culture tells us to keep pushing, to wear exhaustion like a badge of honor, but we’ve learned that this mindset leads to weariness, not abundance. God designed us to work smarter, not harder. Success, wealth, and true fruitfulness don’t come from burnout—they come from working with purpose and balance, aligned with God's principles of rest.
Join us as we discuss how rejecting hustle culture and embracing rest has transformed our perspective on work and productivity. We’ll explore how to navigate the pressures of the economy while staying grounded in a healthier approach to work and life.
