Liberals claim a vote for the NDP would result in a Conservative government
With polls showing a surge in NDP support, Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau continues to warn voters away from the New Democrats. He says a vote for the NDP would result in a Conservative government.
To counter Trudeau's argument, NDP leader Jagmeet Singh says he would cooperate with any party, other than the Conservatives, in a minority situation. He argues voting NDP does not mean electing the Conservatives.
He met voters at the Turkey Trot run on Granville Island this morning, and then heads downtown to meet with striking hotel workers in the noon hour.
Conservative leader Andrew Scheer is campaigning in Winnipeg today.
