Chapter 1: Canadians want more flexibility in their work lives

The pandemic is making Canadians more comfortable asking employers to accommodate their needs. That’s according to a survey of over 1,000 people commissioned by hiring and jobs site Indeed DOT C-A. 

They found people are more comfortable asking for adjusted working hours and more latitude deciding where they want to do that work as well.

Saanich has joined Victoria in asking the province for permission to introduce slow zones that restrict motorists to speeds of 30 km/h, as more municipalities debate similar actions.
