Moser, Lombardi and Kane episodes

  • 9-22-26 Hour 1 - Rams RAM the Giants/Rams Offense vs Broncos D/Vikings LB talks like auctioneer
0:00 - The Los Angeles Rams of Los Angeles, our coworkers, looked like their old selves last night. No more Australia jet lag! How good did they look against those New York Football Giants?

15:11 - The Broncos will face them on Sunday Night Football. How can Denver's defense stack up to that high-flying Stafford-fueled offense?

32:45 - Over the weekend, Jim Nantz did his best Vic Lombardi impression by not listening to JJ Watt during their broadcast. We found another clip of Terry Bradshaw not listening to Gronk. Everybody wants to be Vic!
After that, there's a Vikings LB who finishes every sentence like he's an auctioneer.
(Apologies that you can't hear the music. I mashed him up with "Look at Me Now" during Busta Rhymes' verse when he really starts rapping fast)

  • 9-21-26 Hour 3 - Ryan Harris/Relaxed about the Broncos now?/Sutton is no longer WR #1
0:00 - The Former Master of The Midday himself will join us every Monday morning (usually at 8am) through the football season! The Broncos offense moved the ball a bit better, the defense returned to its old ways, and the Broncos got themselves a win yesterday. What were Ryan's takeaways from the victory?

15:53 - Brett has his suspicions about College Game Day's kicking competition...
Also, are we a bit more relaxed about the Broncos now? Have we all stashed away the trusty Panic Button for a sec?

34:30 - Vic still thought Courtland Sutton would be WR1 this season. But after two games, it doesn't look like that's the case. What's the game plan for WR this year?

  • 9-21-26 Hour 2 - Turning point of the Broncos game/Games can flip in a hurry/Oh, By the Way...
0:00 - And then, there was 1. Brett's Bucs lost to the Browns, which means Vic wins our NFL Survivor Pool in Week 2. That HAS to be some kind of a record right?
Also, the Broncos rallied and beat the Jags yesterday at Mile High. What was the turning point? When did the Broncos start figuring it out?

15:29 - At halftime of the game yesterday, the Broncos were down 7. At halftime of the MNF game vs the Chiefs, the Broncos were down 7. What was the difference? Why did one game run away from the Broncos and the other one didn't?

32:05 - Oh, by the way...Jim Nantz did a fantastic Vic Lombardi impression this weekend.
Oh, by the way...Tom Brady had himself a hell of a Sunday in the broadcast booth yesterday.
Oh, by the way...someone must've told Gus Johnson to chill out when he's calling games, because he did not sound like his regular kooky self during Kent State @ Ohio State on Saturday.

  • 9-21-26 Hour 1 - Broncos beat the Jags 20-13/Grading Bo Nix's performance/CU & CSU both mollywhopped
0:00 - Broncos are 1-1 baby! They beat the Jaguars 20-13 at Mile High yesterday. But, Brett's in a weird place this morning. Sure the Broncos won, but they did THE EXACT SAME THING THEY DID LAST YEAR! You could take basically any show from last season, replay it, and it would still apply.
Is Brett being too critical of the team? Or should he shut up and celebrate the win?

14:58 - Let's evaluate Bo Nix's performance yesterday. How'd he do? Everyone assign him a letter grade.

32:37 - CU & CSU both got smacked around this weekend. At least CSU was playing #11 BYU with an 2nd and 3rd string QB and they still put up a fight! CU vomitted down the front of their jerseys vs Northwestern. That loss is way harder to stomach.

  • 9-18-26 Hour 3 - Mark Long of the AP/Tebow Disrespect, LAY IT DOWN/Survivor Pool + Dead Pool, DRUNK TAKES!
0:00 - The man behind one of our most iconic drops returned to the show this morning. Mark "The Broncos Should Come In Here and Beat That Ass" Long of the Associated Press joined us to preview the Broncos vs Jaguars clash at Mile High this weekend.

14:25 - Mark Long mentioned that Jacksonville fans are bent out of shape about Tim Tebow being the flag-waver before the Broncos vs Jaguars game. Can we think of a Colorado equivalent?
After that, did Moser do well enough to earn his music back? Win, lose, or draw, it's time to LAY IT DOWNNNNNNN.

32:43 - Our show's NFL Survivor Pool continues! Well, for half of us it does. Brett and Vic are still alive. Moser and Nelly croaked after Week 1. So, Brett and Vic are fighting to survive, while Nelly and Moser get to battle it out in the loser's bracket aka the Dead Pool.
After that, it's our favorite part of the week DRUNK TAKES! We take clips from throughout the week, slow em down to half speed and it makes us sound like we're hammered.

Today's edition includes: Moser, Lombarli and kafatapaha, Copa De Tu Madre, cooter?, McGonagall, and I DON'T WANNA POOP LIKE YOU POOP.

  • 9-18-26 Hour 2 - MNF loss not as bad as it looked?/Can you survive 0-2?/Oh, by the Way...
0:00 - (the song we started the segment with was "Kiss Kiss" by Chris Brown and T-Pain)
Yesterday, Bo Nix said "you never play as bad as you think, and you never play as good as you think." Therefore, the Monday Night Football loss wasn't as bad as it seemed. Bo said they found some positive takeaways when they watched the tape. Really?? We're pretty sure that loss was JUST as bad as it looked, if not worse.

14:57 - If the Broncos go 0-2 but they keep it close, will you feel okay? Like a 31-28 last-second field goal type loss. Can you live with that? More importantly, looking at the upcoming schedule, can the Broncos survive an 0-2 hole and still make the playoffs?

32:23 - Oh, by the way...Moser says "We Didn't Start the Fire" by Billy Joel is the dumbest song ever written. His improvised version isn't much better. (or is it?)
Oh, by the way...Sean McVay said, "We're not playing in Australia ever again, I hope" and then asked for his quote not to be taken out of context. It feeds Vic's point that the Australia game was very unneccesary.
Oh, by the way...can the guys teach Nelly to golf in time to qualify for Taco Bell's inaugural Live Mas Open? The winning team gets to pick a discontinued Taco Bell item to bring back to menus in 2027.

  • 9-18-26 Hour 1 - The Broncos conversation has shifted/Offense NEEDS to pull their weight/"Tepid Optimism"
0:00 - Right after Monday Night Football, the Broncos conversation focused on the defense and their atrocious tackling. As the week progressed, we shifted our focus to the offense and Bo Nix. How can they get right against the Jaguars this weekend?

15:08 - The Broncos rely on their defense to bail them out of games far too often. When their backs are against the wall, we all expect the defense to make the game-saving play. At a certain point, the OFFENSE has to pull their own weight! We need the OFFENSE to steal a game for a change.

32:40 - Brett says there's "tepid optimism" surrounding CU and CSU. Both fanbases are feeling good, but aren't sure if their teams are "legit" yet. Well, this weekend will teach us a lot. CU is on the road at Northwestern. CSU is hosting #11 BYU. Can both schools reach 3-0 on the season? Can CSU pull off the upset of all upsets?

  • 9-17-26 Hour 3 - Jeff Legwold/Concerned about offense not defense/A single game can't change your mind!
0:00 - What does our ESPN Broncos Insider Jeff Legwold think about Denver's lackluster Monday Night Football debacle? Will the Broncos remember how to tackle and complete a forward pass before the game vs Jacksonville?

16:39 - When it comes to the Broncos, we're not concerned about the defense. They will never be THAT bad at tackling again for the rest of the season. That was a fluke. But the offense...we have serious doubts about them. They need to change our minds this Sunday.

31:45 - It's INSANE how many people are flipping on Bo Nix after ONE BAD GAME! We always do this with NFL QBs for some reason. Someone plays bad ONCE and all of a sudden, people start pulling receipts. Come ON people! Have some perspective! You were all in love with Bo last season.

  • 9-17-26 Hour 2 - Chad Brown/The Greatest Transformation in Sports History/Oh, By the Way...
0:00 - Chad Brown catches up with us every Wednesday at 8am! Chad played linebacker in the NFL for 14 years, made 3 Pro Bowls, and was First Team All Pro two times. He probably knows how to tackle! Maybe he can teach the Broncos defense some fundamentals before the game on Sunday.

17:44 - Yesterday, we witnessed the Greatest Transformation in Sports History. You truly have to see it to believe it.

32:42 - Oh, by the way...something is rotten in the state of North Carolina. What the heck is happening behind the scenes of the football program in the Belichick Era?
Oh, by the way...things have gone from bad to worse for the New York Mets, and even their broadcasters are fed up.
Oh, by the way...Vic says the Chad Powers show is actually really good. Very well written. It sounds crazy, but he swears by it!

  • 9-17-26 Hour 1 - Cowherd Doubles Down on Nix/No extension for Bednar yet/The Jaguars SCORE
0:00 - Cowherd (cow)heard everything we said about him yesterday. Turns out, he's not flip-flopping on Bo Nix. He's just following the clues he's getting. Brett says there's nothing wrong with changing your mind. But how, why, and WHEN you change your mind is what matters.

14:39 - Avalanche season is rapidly approaching and Jared Bednar still hasn't been extended yet. That's somewhat unconventional. Usually, you don't let a coach go the entire season on the last year of his contract, unless you plan to let him go. Should we make anything of this?

32:26 - The Jacksonville Jaguars SCORE in the Liam Coen era. They put points on the board! So the Denver defense needs to clamp down, remember how to tackle, and keep the Jags in check. BUT if the Jags put up 28 points, the Broncos offense needs to score 30. It's about damn time we put some expectations of the offense for a change.
