Publisher's Summary:
Two former Navy SEALs are on a vengeance motivated odyssey to find who gang raped, beat beyond recognition, and nearly killed the film industry's current sex goddess by heroin injection. Her husband, Mel Stone, and her foster father, Bob Kinsdy, scour three continents for the reason they turned Moira Boyer, into a heroin addict. With help in the form of a two million dollar reward, they find the "Why" that sets them methodically on a circuitous path after the "Who". But: "Why" and "Who" do not stand up in court on their own. Incriminating court evidence requires a specific syndrome of components, a creative prosecutor and testimony that makes the reader think: Bravo.
The final volume of the Hell Trilogy takes you on a writhing serpentine theme park type adventure. You become captive to a world of violence, the horrors of a drug addict's cravings and some highly innovative interrogation techniques Dick Cheney would applaud. It ends in justice - real justice - for those who genetically believe feral emotions running amuck are vengeance free.
Members Reviews:
An excellent read!
Fast, furious, with planes interchanging like flashes on a screen, Hell's Vengeance is a book written in a very cinematographic way, approaching several subjects of interest to any type of reader. Kaynan reveals to us the darkest sides of the human psychology, the viciousness of drugs and the occasional injustice of justice, taking us on an alert chase. When I finished this book, I knew I shall read it again, caught in the circuit of vengeance.
Mel Stone's Trip through Hell continues.
Super-strength and ageless Mel Stone continues his adventures-this time in pursuit of members of a malicious and crafty drug cartel who attacked Stone's luscious actress wife, Moira. He is assisted by Moira's fans and family in stops around the world, a chase that indeed results in vengeance. While readers may wince at the brutality and throes of overcoming inflicted drug addiction, they may also smile when the little guy who gives the big tip for capture is rewarded with the thrill of his lifetime.
Justice!
The hunt for the bad guys continues! Excitement rages as the story once more unfolds. Justice is finally done! It is a must read book if you have read the previous two books in the series.
One horrid deed deserves hell's vengeance
Caveat emptor. Buyer beware. This novel is not for the feint of heart. The book begins with the worst violent act that can be perpetrated on a woman ... a gang rape, which is followed by a near-fatal dose of drugs. Given this story-line I caution the feint of heart to beware. The author writes with the vengeance everyone should feel. There must be retribution -- legal or otherwise -- the rapists must pay. Mel [the protagonist] pursues the men across oceans and continents, with only one thing in mind "hell's vengeance." So as not to be a spoiler, let's just say he does more than find them. Meanwhile his wife struggles with the aftereffects of the rape and sudden drug addiction, resulting from the intended deadly drug dose -- a little added torment from the rapists, and a constant reminder of that awful night.
In comparison, there is an author by the name of Trevanian, who wrote twenty years ago, but suddenly stopped, and has only recently lifted his pen to write again.
