Amazing in all ways!

Loved the narration. Patrella killed it and his performance brought the characters to life! I am finding it difficult to listen to other narrations now. The story was very realistic and kept me wondering what else could happen. Story plus the audio was a match made in heaven. It was by far my favorite and I had a blast listening to the story! Can't wait for the sequel's audiobook to be released!

An emotional rollercoaster

At first I struggled with the basis voice, I imagine a deeper voice for Colton. But he honestly did a fantastic job! I love this book by Molly and hearing it read to me was amazing!! to his book brings up do many emotions and I laughed, I cried. It was beautiful!! I can't wait to hear the next book in the series, Fight.

Love, Love, Love!

I have to say, first and foremost, that I absolutely LOVE Ms. Checketts novels! They are wonderful and beautiful, and it is not every day that you find a truly Christian romance novelist! I am so lucky to have stumbled upon her work, and I am looking forward to reading more and more of her stories!

"The Independent One" is actually the forth novel in this wonderful series; however, it is the first one that I ended up reading. It was excellent, just the right amount of romance with a twist of action to keep you on your toes. On an island outside of California, we find Cal Johnson's beautiful hotel where the lovely Haley Turnbow and her son has won the trip of a life time- or at least Haley was hoping it would be. With the elusive 'ghost' that is haunting the young woman, Cal feels it is his responsibility to gain her trust and possibly even her love.

If you have not dived into the "A Billionaire Bride Pact Romance," please let me be the first to beg you to pick each one of them up and read them at your earliest convenience!

I loved Cal Johnson in "The Feisty One" and am so ...

I loved Cal Johnson in "The Feisty One" and am so glad that he received his own book and that it is with Hayley and Taz. I loved this book. Hayley is an overworked single mom and Cal has kind of a playboy persona, but together they make each other better. Hayley is able to relax a little on her vacation and allow someone else to take care of her for a change. I also enjoyed the ghost aspect and the suspense that it brought into the book. I think Cami Checketts does this really well in several of her books.

"Don't you get sicks of working all the times? I like when you like me more than your store." This coming from a cute little 5 year old almost broke my heart. My daughter is 6 and I know it is hard for her when I say Mommy has to go to work. Unfortunately it is a reality of life, but it did help me see that I need to make the time I'm off work more special and important than I have been.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and am sure I will read it again and again.

A quick fun read

I can't help but read another book by this author. I really enjoy her books. That being said, this book wasn't my favorite in this series. I liked the storyline overall- a bit of suspenseful moments interwoven in the romance- but I definitely got frustrated by some things.

Awesome. The old days were romance was romance, and love pure and simple. Not complicated and dramatic as it is today.

For barbers Cartland this a good book

I just love her books and simple plots

Her discriptions of the places and the clothes also her heroes and leading ladies

Old Friends!

I love the simplistic writing style of Dame Cartland. She was the very first author I ever read, so I have a soft spot in my heart for her novels. And I love that the entire collection is being released again at resonable prices...I can afford to visit as often as I like.

It was a sweet story but rather routine for her. Usually there is more historical elements but if you want a nice love story then read this one.

An Old Favorite

Kathleen Geillis Seidel has been a favorite author since I first started reading romance novels years ago. I love her writing style, wry humor and strong character development. They are the ultimate comfort reads based on realistic working class characters without much angst, nothing very bad happens and you always get a HEA.

This book has long been a favorite that I have reread many times. But until recently it has not been available on audible. I was delighted to find it. Perhaps unfairly I have downgraded the performance part of my review because the readers voice is so far from the voices of the characters that had become established in my head.

One of the best heroes ever

I loved the book but had issues with the narrator - or possibly with the director. The reading was so slow that I listened with the speed set on 135%. Also, there were some annoying mispronunciations. Part of the story involves labor unions, so it really grated when the narrator pronounced "local" as "locale"!

Sweet and Heatless

This story was short and sweet with the sex scenes omitted. This was a good enough story but I don't like when the couple gets hot and heavy and then it's over without any details. I listened to another book by this author where the sex scenes were not omitted so I know she has it in her to write them.

Raine was okay as the narrator but the male voice was too feminine.

I would have returned it if I hadn't listened to the end.

Sweet romance

Light-hearted story about unrequited love, small town gossip, and ultimately learning to try again if life knocks you down.

To the Limit is a good Audible, great narrator and awesome start and middle to the book. The ending was a little long and drawn out without enough punch to it; could have been so much more. It's definitely worth the listen; there's great characters, story and romantic suspense, my kind of book.

Another entertaining story about the O'Connor fami

Ms. Reus delivers another entertaining story about the OConnor family of Holly, NC. This time its Fallons story. She is a pastry chef with dreams of owning a food truck but also feels she has to fullfill her familys expectations of going to culinary school. Her indecision gets more complicated when Sheriff Brad Fulton makes it clear he wants a relationship with her. These two are adorable and you just want them have a chance.

Fallon has to decide what she truly wants to do with her life. Will that include Brad, who is willing to do anything for her, or will it be a life away from Holly, NC and thus away from Brad?

Once again, this talented author manages to give us in this novella, a well develop plot and complex characters. Not an easy feat to accomplish in just a few pages.

The audiobook made the characters seem more real, thanks to the talented narrator, Sophie Eastlake.

I was gifted this audiobook. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

A wonderful low-angst romance!!!!!

What made the experience of listening to Tease Me, Baby the most enjoyable?

The experience of listening to Tease Me, Baby was so enjoyable due to the whole package which included the well-plotted storyline, the believable and likable characters, the small-town setting of Holly, North Carolina where it is Christmas year-round and the very capable performance of Sophie Eastlake. It's simply a wonderful low-angst romance.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was hot alpha Brad Fulton, small-town Hollys Sheriff.Brad is a respected, responsible, Captain America type and Fallon believes shes not good enough for him. But, as Brad said so well: "Maybe Im not the Boy Scout you think I am."

Brad knows that Fallon is the woman for him but shes avoiding him like the plague. He thinks she and her career can thrive in Holly with him and that she doesnt need a culinary degree as shes already an accomplished chef and can be successful without it. But, not only does he have to convince Fallon that her future is in Holly with him, but he has to get her overprotective brothers to accept him too.

What about Sophie Eastlakes performance did you like?

Sophie Eastlake is the very capable narrator for Tease Me, Baby. She has capably voiced many of Katies audios and does another excellent job with Tease Me, Baby. She consistently differentiated between the characters voices and exuded the appropriate emotions making for an easy, pleasurable listening experience.

great quick read/listen

I really liked this book, it was a quick one compared to my regular books but it was great! I would recommend it. the narration was fabulous and the writing was good. I really liked the characters. it was nice to have a capable female lead that didn't need rescuing.

Good read

I would recommend this book. The story was hot and the near narrator a very good job with both the men and women voices. I would listen to more from her.

I enjoyed Meghan Kelly's audio.

I enjoyed the narration of this book yet I did not enjoy the book as much as I thought I would. While Meghan Kelly is a wonderful narrator I felt as if the storyline made it a 4 star book audio. The storyline was a bit slow for me however it was an original storyline.

Interning just got interesting...

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

The listen was time well-spent because it was one that I could easily get into while multitasking on other things. I did not have to stop what I was doing to getting into the story.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Without disclosing any spoilers my reaction to the story was just right considering what Isabella and James were facing at the hospital and in their personal lives. Choices that were challenging to decide and face.

What about Meghan Kellys performance did you like?

Meghan Kelly's narration of the story was good. She told it in a way that was easy to understand and listeners could imagine what is being presented.

What a listen! A 3.5 stars hospital romance read with twists that will have you divided on what you want and what is important.

Isabella is starting her internship where Dr. James is mentoring and guiding his students in becoming more in the medical field and giving them the experiences they need to be more. She was under the impression she would be under the guidance of an older doctor and not a gorgeous one that seems to get her hot and bothered.

We have two people who lives and breath their careers with very limited time to themselves. When a adrenaline rush of a successful surgery gets to Isabella she surprisingly makes a move on James and kisses him.

Fantastic Audiobook

I really enjoyed this audiobook, the story was fantastic, well written and very enjoyable. The narrators are great, it is in dual point of view, and I loved having both a male and female narrator.

The quality is clear, their voices were perfect for the story and I could listen to their voices all day long

Smooth, sensual

I had read this book previously but willingly agreed to review the audio book.....I think I fell in love more. The narrator has a smooth book and I never wanted to stop listening at any stage.

Sexy, heartwarming and engaging

Who was your favorite character and why?

Nick Barnes of course! He is so sweet and mouthwateringly sexy and come on... the dude is 6'7, a star basketball player, and has the body of an Adonis! I also adored how chivalrous and caring he was with Eden. She was not just another notch on the belt for him...but he really had deep seated feelings for her stemming from their childhood. And I also liked how devoted he was to his eccentric family!

Which scene was your favorite?

I adored the scene where they had their first date, which led to baby making sex and then the heartmelting pillowtalk afterwards!!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not an extreme reaction...just a fun, engaging listen that held my attention throughout.
