They were best friends

Kelly and Peter had been best friends for years. Peter wanted more but with going to school he couldn't afford more. But if Kelly had given him a reason to believe she wanted more that would have changed but he was afraid he would chase her off and loose her friendship. Until a wedding in Vegas and too much booze. Now he hopes to make their wedding permanent. Hopefully 45 days is enough.

Another wonderful story. Ms Adams always catches me early and holds me until the end.

Romance at its best.

Another five star read from Noelle Adams. I just love all the bits of humor that are mixed in with this wonderful romance story. Peter and Kelly's book was so much fun to read but sad it is the last book in the series. I highly recommend this entire series for a fun enjoyable romance collection

Love Kelly and Peter's story

This is a friend to lover's story with a twist about what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas. Their marriage starts out as a drunken event, then they decide to stay married until graduation which is 45 days away. The ups and downs during this time is full of emotions. Love their fight to make things work. Love this story and the ending.

Warm Romance Reading

This was a nice story to tie up this series. I don't think this book was as interesting as the first two stories in the series, but it did a nice job of developing the last two characters in this romantic trio of sisters.

Easy reading sweet romance

Good story. Good character development. How people deal with changes in life. Heroine is afraid of change, hero embraces change but wants to be independent shoving aside help. They all need to fight past these traits to achieve major life goals. Good book

I loved Bram and Ani so much. They are so good together. They are the couple who everyone has always known just because they've always been at one another's throats. To say they have a contentious relationship is putting it lightly. But even with all that antagonism, they've been family (fosters) so that means they always have one another's back and love. It only makes sense that when things get rough that that caring develops into something else. LOVED this story so much.

And there are a lot of tough times in this book. OMG, the tears. I adore this whole family. They are such a cohesive bunch and I love that about them, but it makes it so hard for all of them when something happens with one of them. But I love how they all come together and offer one another strength. Seriously...TEARS!!

All of that applies to Bram and Ani, too. I love how quickly they come to find one another as support and just how much that fact surprises both of them. They're so antagonistic toward one another, it's not until things get rough do they realize how much of that is a cover for pure sexual chemistry. *happy sigh* I do love it when the sexual chemistry sizzles throughout the story.

I've loved both of these audiobooks and am waiting with bated breath for the next release in the Fosters series. LOVE this family so much and highly recommend this one! It was so, so, so good!

Reconnected

I had read Vivian's List and Liam's List a few years ago and enjoyed them both. I didn't, however, recall Ms. Lovell's name.

Bookbub offered me this book, and I liked what I read in the blurb, so I bought it. I'm glad I did. I'm glad because I got to reconnect with Ms. Lovell's writing. I'm glad because the book was well-written and entertaining, and mostly I'm glad because Ender was just the right type of hero for Adelaide.

Ms. Lovell has certainly either done her research or has had a close relationship with someone with Asperger's Syndrome. As a classroom teacher I have often had the opportunity to work with children on the spectrum, usually the more high-functioning students, and occasionally, I will have a child with Asperger's. Ms. Lovell's depiction was spot on.

My own eleven year-old son has severe autism and has recently had to move into a residence with full time help; he'd gotten violent over the years. As a single, older mom, I was unable to ensure either his, or my, safety, and the only option the U.S. offers is removal of the child from the home (at least where I live).

I appreciate Ms. Lovell's willingness to show someone on the spectrum being able to handle every day life. I thought Adelaide was charming, and Ender's whole attitude toward her was endearing. I would have loved to have seen more interaction with Edric.

So, I'm glad to reconnect with Ms. Lovell. She's become an author in my TBR pile.

Adelaide is different but when she moves in with childhood friends Ender and Edric to start college she can enjoy being herself!

Ender and Edric spent their summers at their grandmothers in Australia. It was there they met Adelaide, and she and Ender became bosom buddies. Now that it's time for her to start college the guys grandmother Camille, now Adelaide's guardian, has sent her to live with them and go to UC Berkeley. Having Asperger's syndrome has always made her different but college far from home gives her a chance to start out new. This story takes on Adelaide's journey to find the life she has dreamed of, with new friends and old and maybe love. Some may see her simply as different but Ender sees who she is inside and out and she is so much more than just a girl with Asperger's!

Very Good Read

Adelaide and Ender are characters that draw you in immediately. Adelaide's interaction with others is comical and throughout the story she has a positive impact on everyone she encounters. Her perspective on life is beyond refreshing. Ender is humbled by Adelaide's approach to life and a better man as a result of knowing her. We need more Adelaide's in the world.

I enjoyed the story. It was a classic reluctant love story about two people NOT looking for anything or anyone finding it anyway. At first the narrator's accent was a bit to get used to as it was very southern, but it fit the story.

Love the author but books was a little boring

I have many other books on hers but did not enjoy this on. It dragged on.

Another Hit !!!! Maryann

Wow what a rollercoaster ride ! I never thought I would get this much excitement, sadness, grief and love rolled in one . These men are amazing . BJ and Suzy I loved their story because they had more of a history than the other couples and it gave me a little in site of what they were like growing up and being a couple at a young age . The loss of their baby touched me because I know what is like glad they were able to discuss it with family and friends who supported them. Love the ending . Kids and Babies I will continue the next series would definitely recommend this series of books .

This is book three in the Love's series. Each book is a standalone but reading them in order will give you background on the characters since they're friends and some work together.

Brad and Suzanne were high school sweethearts who had planned on being together forever. The two suffer a traumatic loss and their relationship ends. Four years later, they're brought together by mutual friends who had no idea they knew each other. It's obvious time hasn't changed the way they feel about each other, and this time Brad isn't going to let Suzanne run without a fight.

I really liked Brad. He's a sweet guy who's protective and kind. He never got over losing the love of his life and will do anything to convince Suzanne they belong together. My feelings toward Suzanne were a little strained. While I understand the reason she was upset and I can imagine it was an extremely emotional thing to happen, her decision not to be honest and talk to Brad aggravated me. They were best friends and sweethearts, and had been for years. How could she not talk to him before making that choice regarding their futures? Further, because she's the one who left, I felt she should have been the one groveling not the other way around. Did I mention Suzanne cries? Yes! All. The. Time.

Life in the Trenches of Affluent Parenthood

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

It's written with brilliant wit and the San Francisco location is a plus. The plot hops through a group of friends who bond at a playground / meet up through an often b*&$#y parenting "club". Threads of romance are intriguing, if a bit "fairy tale". Kaui Hart Hemmings truly nails contemporary family life (in an affluent american city, that is).

What was one of the most memorable moments of How to Party with an Infant?

The author does a great job exploring emotional interiors of the characters, pretty much throughout the entire book. A chapter where a 13 y-o boy hosts a co-ed birthday party gets to the heart of parental insecurities. There really aren't many infants in this book. And parenthood is not a party.

What does Joy Osmanski bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

There are many hilarious lines of dialogue, outrageous scenes and interior wonderings--all of which are brought to life well by the narrator.

A very intense bundle

Each book takes you on a journey with each seal. You see the bad boy seals at the top of there skill but yet you get to see them at their most vulnerable. You have to read this bundle I have yet to read a bundle quite like this . I highly recommend these books

I did really like this book, and it was very sexy in some parts...Declan is a dirty boy! :) Nyx tried to play hard to get, but ya...that didn't last long, lol!!! I really like this series...but I am still standing strong on book 2 being my fave....I hope there will be more books in this series, because of course this book left me wanting more!!!! This is a great rocker romance series with a strong paranormal twist...and it is really a good one!!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Make Damn Sure to be better than the print version?

Haven't read this book just listened to the audiobook and I really enjoyed it, it's my first audio in this genra.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Make Damn Sure?

When Nyx's powers are awaken, it sounded beautiful. I couldn't nearly envision it, good job Joshua.

Which character as performed by Joshua Macrae was your favorite?

Rusty, OMG he sounded sexy as sin. But so did all the other male characters he performed, I love that southern accent.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Rusty told Nyx that she is his, the one made for him.

Not great, but not awful

If you're on the young side, you might enjoy this. It's a story about a girl and her BFF that meet the rock stars of their dreams and, the best, most amazing things imaginable happen. And they all live happily ever after. For this jaded older woman, it was all too over dramatic and high school.

The author repeats key phrases over and over to the point I want to quiz her vocabulary skills. Also, there are a lot of grammatical errors especially in the last book. When Bree meets her mother-in-law she is surprised how tall she is at first and then in the next paragraph talks about how short the woman is. What? By this point I was just glad the whole thing was just about over. If the author took out all of the repetition, and fixed the grammar, it might just make one good book. There were parts that were good and a lot that was totally unbelievable, but it's a story with potential.

If you like fairy tales and rock stars, you just might like this. It isn't really my thing, but I did read every last word.

Great series

This is a fast-paced blossoming love story with Rob and Sabrina. She is a music teacher with big dreams and he is a Rock God and lead singer of Trouble. One night at a rock show they bump into each other literally. And it is a whirlwind romance from there.

This box set is the first three books. The first book is their connection and their blossoming romance. They get to know each Rothenberg well and Sabrina must make a huge decision at the end of book one.

Book two is the guts of the series. There are highs and lows. One minute you prevailing and excited and the next minute you are reaching for the Kleenex and hating people.

Book three is the wrap up. Everything is out and in the open. No more secrets to keep. Only making amends. It does have a HEA and continues with the next three books featuring Tyler and Katie.

I love this author and how she pulls you into the story. Sometimes it is short and right to the point so you don't get overwhelmed with information or descriptions and other times she is detailed and specific enough for you to get the real meaning of what she is trying to say.

If you like hot, domineering, rocker stories than this boxed set is a must! Rob and Sabrina's story is full of passion. The life of a rock star isn't always glamorous. There were some truly epic life changing events in their lives. I just couldn't put it down. I felt what they felt. I laughed and even ugly cried through this story with tears of happiness and sadness.

Now he's strictly a roguish once and done manwhore... and he doesn't ever plan to change. He's got the double whammy of jobs in his favor... a Fireman AND he's a successful MMA Fighter.

However, as Ryder's about to make his legendary moves on an unsuspecting beautiful redhead - it was him that was caught off guard by HER aloof nature, by HER sexual moves... and by HER clinical one and done attitude and he didn't like the feeling at all.
