Title: Lesser Demons

Author: Beth Redd

Length: 1 hr and 15 mins

Language: English

Release date: 06-25-15

Publisher: Beth Redd

Ratings: 4 of 5 out of 1 votes

Genres: Romance, Fantasy

Publisher's Summary:

A demon is sent by Satan himself to lead a young college girl into temptation (drugs, alcohol, sex). Complications ensue, however, when the demon falls in love with the girl and goes against Satan's wishes to lead her down the wrong path. He must decide whether to save her life or his own soul.

Members Reviews:

It is O.K.

I liked this story more than I disliked it, although some editing would have helped. There are a couple of tense changes in the middle of a sentence and this gem"for a moment though her slime eased his fears", I'm pretty sure the author meant smile but it is unintentionally funny.

I actually like the demon better than the good girl he is trying to send to hell(then protect instead). Things moved quickly with both the demon and the heroine falling for each other with embarrassing speed and no real tension even when the "evil" demons show up. Overall, it was O.K. I'm not sorry I read it, but I doubt I will ever read it again.

(àÏ-)ïâ Cute, Okay Story

This is a cute story about a demon who falls in love with the girl. Please don't get me wrong based on my rating. I did enjoy the story. Satan himself requests for the "lesser" demon "Kay" to lead a young college girl into temptation. I never found out why must have been her soul, nor why was he chosen. The story was a bit rushed; and boom! They've fallen for each other. When the other demons show up is when the action ends as soon as it began. The story could have been really extended. As much as I enjoyed the story line, I found myself wondering "why's". I felt like I was reading an Otome. Cute, and short with a happy ending (àâ¡ââ¡à)

Happy ending

Short story but a very good story line. A happy ending. I would have been happy to have had it been a longer version

Mmm! Pork Roast! xD

The story was decently written. Short and sweet, with a hint of disturbing vengeance.

The main characters were likeable. Overall, I enjoyed it!

Angel Clark's narration made it worth listening to, and I'm glad I didn't judge this book by its cover.

Members Reviews:

Love this series and great characters!

Would you consider the audio edition of An Immortal Valentine's Day to be better than the print version?

I actually prefer print versions of this series, the narrator for me didn't change his voice enough considering a large part of this novella was all male characters in many of the scenes.

What did you like best about this story?

I love paranormal fiction and this has many elements I like, werewolves, demons, fallen angels, vampires, sorcerers, secret cities, this one has it all.

What about Edo De Angeliss performance did you like?

He did put feeling into the characters and made the secret city under the human city come to life.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This did make me laugh, wry observations and playboys turned daddies do that.

Great story

I received this for a honest review. The author did a good job writing the book and the narrator was great as well.

This book has a little of everything from angles, shifters, vampires, warlocks, and demons. A group of friends will have to come together to find a missing girl and her boyfriend. They find that the young couple might be in some serious danger. Can they get to them in time?

Quintilius will have to except that his daughter is in love with a demon. He finds this very hard to deal with. Will he ever be able to except his daughters chose.

This is a book about Valentines day. So the men are having to make sure their women are happy. Those theses men are different as far as their abilities and what they are but the one thing they have in common is they love they have for their mates. They also love their kids.

Enigmatic and spirited Anna Lucera is gifted with an uncanny sixth sense and is intrigued by all things mystical. When her green cat eyes and long, black hair capture the attention of a young lawyer named Kevin Townsend, a romance ensues that leads them to the hauntingly beautiful region of California's Carmel-by-the-Sea, where Anna is intuitively drawn to the Madiera Hotel. Everything about the hotel and Carmel-by-the-Sea heightens her senses and speaks to Anna as if she has been there before. As Anna's memory unravels the puzzle, she is drawn into a past that's eerily familiar and a life she just may have lived before.

Members Reviews:

A beautiful story, artfully woven between two time periods

A beautiful story, artfully woven between two time periods, A Portal in Time is also a portal for the reader to a gorgeous setting and a haunting romance.

Despite the century between the lifetimes of the main characters, this book slips seamlessly from era to era. Claire Fullerton lends a unique and lovely voice to two distinctly different courtships, contrasting late Victorian and contemporary romance and binding them together with a thread of perennial love. Neither time period overshadows the other; instead, they fuse into a seamless and nuanced tale of love, triumph and tragedy across lifetimes. And although this type of story has the potential to become overwrought with connections and coincidence, Fullerton maintains a light but firm touch from start to finish. As in Dancing to an Irish Reel, she writes in such a way that you want to linger over every word like a glass of fine wine. A Portal in Time was every bit the delight I expected and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys tales of enduring love.

Go Ahead. Step through this portal. You'll be glad you did.

A Portal in Time is a wonderful read. The setting is beautiful, the two time frames depicted with absolute accuracy, and the main characters totally believable. Fullerton blends the unique mix of present and past into a marvelous story about life, love, healing.......and a bit of mystery. And she does it all with an ability to make the reader feel part of the story. Skill, mastery, artistry are all apparent in this spellbinding story of searching for self.

A Wonderful Page-Turning Romance

This book is a pleasurable read that captures the reader's attention from beginning to end. The characters are well developed and the two time periods of the book's stories are set up most believably. The narrative is vivid and aptly describes the beauty of Carmel-by-the-Sea. I loved the dialogue, especially as it set the tone of the early 1900's in San Francisco. Truly a wonderful book. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good romance.

Highly Recommended

I truly enjoyed this book. It moves back and forth between two time periods, bringing them closer as the book moves toward the climactic ending, but the transition is done so seamlessly that it makes for a very easy and readable transition. The setting is gorgeous (California and an old hotel); the author really brings the scenes and scenery to life in vivid detail. I enjoyed the interaction between the characters and the past life experience, the concept of reincarnation, truly appeals to me. Highly recommended.

Members Reviews:

Sorority Wolf is a quick, fun read.

Sorority Wolf is a quick, fun read. I got a kick out of Kieran and how he handled his dilemma. I wasnât as crazy about Alex but I think it may have been because in this short tale she had to grow too fast. Even so, I enjoyed the book.

The series so far

Really enjoying the securities I like how they use different authors and it's interesting they're not real long but they're nice they're good read

I really wanted to love it, but...

This is a short book, roughly 72 pages. Really, that is such an incredibly short time to make a story work. Sadly, Sorority Wolf just didn't do it for me.

It all started out very good. Alex has all these plans of joining a sorority and getting a pack, after being a lone wolf with her mother for her whole life. Kieran offers help and let's her know he is a demon.

Then it kind of falls apart for me. ROAR is a help line, that you can text. But apparently they are clairvoyant? I don't know. I really wish that it would have been a more integral part to the story, because it kind of felt like an after thought.

As for Alex and Kieran... friends, then they don't like each other at all, and then mates? Huh? This proved to be too much too fast for me. On top of all that, there were several other issues addressed in the book, adding for less time per plotline.

I had hopes. It sounded like a very interesting idea. I think this is one of those books that needs to be full length, so that everything has time to play out in a realistic fashion and allow the reader to connect with the characters.

Quick read

Didn't love this book but didn't hate it either. I would love to see more added on especially with Kieran and his battle it was too quick and didn't have enough of the story to get me into it.
