Damon Bramburg loved his mother so much that he refused to ever leave her side.  This made it very difficult for his wife that wanted alone time with him, without his mother Sonya in the way. Sonya had total control over her son, Damon.  He did whatever she said, without question.

Sonya was furious when Nikki, Damon's wife, decided to leave with her two young  children. Three in a marriage was too much for Nikki.  Sonya knew Nikki had to pay for taking her grandchildren away.
