Motion Picture Retribution Power Hour (MPRPH)

Good Evening.

This is an official PSA that you should NOT watch the film Battlefield Earth starring John Travolta, directed by Roger Christian, with a story by L Ron Hubbard.

It is genuinely one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life. It's not even fun bad. Save yourself. Please.

Your Homework: Waterworld (1995)

Good Evening.

The Lantern? Green. The Oath? Unnecessary. The Brothers? Evening.

This episode, the Evening Brothers discuss Green Lantern (2011) starring Ryan Reynolds. And no, I don't mean Lanterns , the HBO Max show that is very good. I mean Green Lantern, the movie that is very not good.

Don't forget, everyone: Make a meme with your body and say the caption out loud.

Your Homework: Battlefield Earth (2000)

Good Evening,

On this very special episode for which the Evening Brothers locked the F in on the podcast for exactly 1 hour and 7 minutes, there is a lot of discussion of Aliens and Predators. That's right, this evening, the boys are reviewing Alan Ritchson's Netflix's War Machine. Check your radiators, folks.

Good Evening!

This episode has all the audio from everyone involved! Low bar, but consider it cleared!

This week, the Evening Brothers discuss the seminal classic Borderlands, based loosely on the video game series and directed loosely by Eli Roth!

Your Homework: War Machine (2026)

Good Evening.

This day is a somber one. One of mourning. Mourning the loss of Jon's audio. Audio that just might have changed the world as we know it. It's not every day that you get the opportunity to hear 2/3rds of a conversation though! Though it might not be a good thing. Thing is, the Evening Brothers discuss Jason Statham's A Working Man.

Man I wish my audio wasn't broken.

Your Homework: Borderlands (2024)

Good Evening!

This episode, the Evening Brothers discuss the film Alien Vs Predator in as much detail as is required by the picture itself, which is to say almost none. It's a dumb movie hiding behind the mask of a thing you like.

That said, it could be argued that the brothers are actually finding their footing in the whole "podcast space" so maybe share this with someone you love or hate?

Your Homework: A Working Man (2025)

Good Evening,

This week, the Evening Brothers discuss Guy Ritchie's King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. They discuss Lake Ladies, bad CGI sword fighting, and the mathematical and theoretical improbabilities of a ... wait that can't be right... ROUND TABLE?!?!

Your Homework: Alien VS Predator (2004)

Good Evening,

On this very special sequel episode of the Motion Picture Retribution Power Hour, the Evening Brothers are discussing John Carpenter's Escape from LA!

They cover everything from the snake tattoo to whether or not Snake Plisskin is the American James Bond. From snake to Snake.

Your Homework: King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017)

Good Evening,

This really is a special evening. This evening, the Brothers discuss John Carpenter's "Escape from New York", a good movie. Repeat: a GOOD MOVIE.
