Alan's parents now own a new BMW 530D and he got a go behind the wheel. Alan explains that there have been significant changes over the last generation. Andrew gets the opportunity to rant about useless technology that doesn't actually enhance our lives or solve a problem we actually have.

Volkswagen has reached an agreement with 10 states in America, to the tune of $157m, as part of the penalties for their deception. To read more click here.

The chaps have decided to ulitise Pateron, a popular crowdfunding site, as a way to generate income to help pay for everything they've been to date. In order for the Motoring Podcast to improve, both in terms of quality and what is covered, the chaps need additional financial help.

So far there is only one Level, which has been set at the price of a pint for both Andrew and Alan. Imaginatively, this is called the Pint Level. If you do fund the chaps to this amount, when they meet you they will buy you a drink as a small token of their thanks!
