MUFASA: THE LION KING is an animated action adventure musical. It tells the exciting story of how Simba’s father became King. Young Mufasa and his family were living in a drought-ravaged land. They are heading toward Milele, a lush land beyond the horizon. A sudden thunderstorm creates a flood. It sweeps Mufasa far away, to a savannah. Mufasa becomes adopted by another pride. He makes friends with Taka, the royal heir. When a pride of large white lions threatens, Taka’s father sends Taka and Mufasa away. They head toward Milele. The white lions, however, are close on their trail.

TEA TOWN TEDDY BEARS is a delightful, beautifully animated series about little teddy bears who get into problems and find out that doing the right thing solves the problem. In Episode 1.01, “Friends Stick Together,” Ginger gets glue all over her hand while trying to glue a flower to a hat. She doesn’t take the time to wash her hands, and because of that she and her friends literally stick together which leads to big problems. In Episode 1.26, “Sprinkle Shortage,” the teddy bears are planning a sprinkle tea party, but discover that they’ve run out of sprinkles! Earl Grey plants the one remaining sprinkle, hoping to grow a sprinkle tree.

THREE WISER MEN AND A BOY is a hilarious Christmas comedy on the Hallmark Channel. A sequel to THREE WISER MEN AND A BABY, the movie follows three brothers, Luke, Stephan and Taylor. They work to help Luke’s son put on a school Christmas play. Complicating matters is their mother’s new boyfriend, Roy, a pastor. The brothers aren’t taking it well. They resent Roy for invading their family’s Christmas traditions. Producing the Christmas play develops some big problems. A small school fire endangers the whole production. Can the brothers save the play and figure out how to coexist with their mom’s boyfriend in time for Christmas?

BELIEVE IN CHRISTMAS is a Christmas romance on the Hallmark Channel. Beatrice is a former foster child with few good memories of Christmas. She accompanies best friend Emilia on a trip to the small town of Christmasland, a place that promises to deliver the “holiday movie experience.” Beatrice starts to warm to the idea of Christmas. However, she begins to question the truth behind her experiences in Christmasland. She also questions her growing feelings for Christmasland-native Ethan, who’s showing her the town. The situation comes to a crossroads when Ethan’s ex-girlfriend appears.

A BLUEGRASS CHRISTMAS is a delightful Christmas romance movie on UPtv. Kate is an equine vet who works on her family’s horse sanctuary. However, their largest donor pulls his funding when Kate tells him his injured horse isn’t ready to race. The man’s son, Grant, comes to Kate to apologize. When he learns that Kate’s grandfather, Ben, is a retired but famous bluegrass artist, he suggests they put on a benefit concert featuring him. Can Kate convince her reluctant grandfather to return to the stage?

OUT OF MY MIND is a wonderful uplifting story on Disney+ about Melody, a girl with cerebral palsy who proves she’s just as capable as any other girl her age. Melody gets the chance to join a normal classroom. Also, she proves her intelligence when she qualifies for her school’s “Wiz Kid” national trivia tournament. Though she’s the most capable person on the team, she continues to be overlooked and gets kept out of the nationals. Along the way, however, Melody finds her confidence, learns not to let others put her down and stand up for herself.

A LITTLE WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS is a modern retelling on Great American Family of Luisa May Alcott’s classic 1869 novel, LITTLE WOMEN. It places the four March sisters in a new set of circumstances. When faced with a two-week deadline to develop a new book, Jo March finds herself grasping for inspiration while heading home for Christmas. Jo meets a fellow writer who reignites her imagination. The two fall in love, but Jo is later crushed when she finds out he’s not who he says he is. Meanwhile, the troubles of Jo’s three sisters pile up.

THE WAR OF THE ROHIRRIM is an animated version of a short story by Tolkien, who wrote LORD OF THE RINGS. The reign of Helm, the Ninth King of Rohan, is plagued by conflict with “wildmen” from Dunland. A wealthy warlord from Dunland proposes marriage between his son, Wulf, and Helm’s daughter, Héra. However, Helm refuses and mocks the warlord, who challenges Helm to a fight. Helm knocks him dead with one blow. Wulf vows revenge. Four years later, he overruns Rohan’s main fortress. Helm retreats to a mountain fortress, against which Wulf and his armies lay siege.

HOMESTEAD is about the aftermath of a collapsed civilization. Ian Ross, a wealthy man, has built a compound for such a time. Ross insists the compound can only sustain a limited number of people. He hires a small militia to protect it. The militia clashes with the inhabitants who have a moral problem with locking out those in need. A tragedy occurs and the conflict escalates. Is there a way to turn things around?

WALLACE & GROMIT: VENGEANCE MOST FOWL is a very funny British movie, with scary detective story elements. A criminal penguin named Feathers McGraw steals the Blue Diamond. However, Wallace and his dog, Gromit, trap him and turn him over to the police, who put him in maximum security, in this case a zoo. Now, Feathers McGrew wants vengeance on Wallace and Gromit. He frames Wallace and Gromit for stealing from their neighbors when he hacks into Wallace’s new invention, a gnome that Wallace has turned into a robot.
