Movieing On - Movies from 1999 or Earlier

So there was far less of a New Year Eve theme to this movie than any of us remembered, but hey – it’s a good movie nonetheless!

Finding a time where all three of us could record was tricky around the Christmas holidays, but we made it work! The movie? The 1947 Christmas classic, Miracle on 34th Street. Honestly; I’m having a hard time understanding how we didn’t get to do this movie earlier.

As far as scary movies go, some are scarier than others. Then there are the ones that try to inject a bit of humor into it all. Then there are those that try to be scary but end up being funny. This is an example of that last category.

You know – there are very few times in life when you feel that the last few minutes of a thing make up for the rest of the thing not having been very good. In fact; I can only think of three; bad sex, an ice cream dessert following a distatestful dinner … and this movie. If you could just read the synopsis of this movie and then watch the last twelve minutes, that should be enough.
