  • Movieing On #259: Young Frankenstein
It’s been more than a year since we did a Mel Brooks movie, and with Halloween upon us, there really was no better choice for a movie than this.

  • Movieing On #258: The Right Stuff
As the New Kids On the Block tell us, You’re the reason why I sing this song, all that I needed was you. Oh girl, you’re so right, said all that I wanted was you. You made all my dreams come true
… Which is pretty much how we all feel about this movie.

  • Movieing On #257: The First Wives’ Club
It’s a feelgood comedy from the mid 90s, starring three women who are supposed to have been in school together. Considering that the actresses are all born within three month of each other, it’s possibly the first time that this is a plausible thing to believe. Enjoy! We did.

  • Movieing On #256: Bye, Bye, Birdie
Due to illness, we were looking at the possibility of two-manning the show – but then a wild Gordon appeared! And the show became a possibility again.

  • Movieing On #255: Restless Natives
After two weeks of trying to get a show together but failing miserably, we finally bite the bullet and two-mic this episode. Sorry for the delay in getting this show out there, folks!

  • Movieing On #254: The Mighty
In an episode to go down in history not for the greatness of the movie or the amazing discussion that is sparked by it, the four hosts of Movieing On sit down for one last time in this particular constellation to talk about The Mighty, a movie about an introverted boy with some version of PTSD who later grows up to become Daredevil’s best friend, but who first befriends a wisecracking boy with Morquio Syndrome. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll wonder if the accent coach was asleep on the job. Mostly, you’ll smile and enjoy the movie, however. It’s sweet.

  • Movieing On #253: The People Vs. Larry Flint
A controversial character, but a surprisingly non-controversial movie. Generally well liked, it never won any of the two Academy Awards it was nominated for. Here on the show, we talk about how we felt about it.

  • Movieing On #250: Good Will Hunting
It’s been a while since we did a real feel-good movie, and while it’s hard to say if this one is really a feel-good movie, it absolutely feels good to finally have it done on this show. And where better to do it than one quarter of our way to episode #1000?
