  • The Oklahoma Culture Around Education That Killed Nex Benedict
    Hey, gang.
Had a little trouble getting the episode produced and uploaded due to some work being done in the area on cable services.
Now we're ready to rock.  I wanted to take a look at some new and old coverage of the goings on in Oklahoma Public/Private/College Education.
    And we're not done.
I also go on a produced tangent about Dave Chappelle because I get mad and do stuff like that.
This is going to be tough to listen to but I think that with the effort that put into production and editing, you should be able to groove with it.

  • This MAGA Chud Is A Talking Point Piñata
    Hey, gang.
This relatively short episode took a pretty long time to produce from the moment of pressing record to the moment of mixing down 29 individual audio tracks into the MP3 you have in front of you.
It's an open secret (I don't know if I'm using that right) that I try to produce my material for a good reefer smoker's experience. So if you like to cheef and get into your favorite home activity, this podcast may be the material for  you.
The folks over at Young Turks have some person-on -the -street style interviews and I check them out at Rebel HQ sometimes.  This is the first time I'm bringing one over to this platform and I hope y'all dig it because I'd like to do it more.
This style of producing an episode is my art.

  • Lauren Boebert And The United Ghettos Of America
An arrest affidavit contains an eyebrow-raising claim that the son of Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) sent out a sex tape involving him and another suspect in their alleged Colorado crime spree.
Tyler Boebert, 18, was arrested Tuesday and faces 22 charges relating to a series of alleged thefts and vehicle break-ins in Rifle, Colorado, which is in his mom’s congressional district. The sex tape allegation was levied by the stepmother of one unnamed suspect, who is said to have disclosed the alleged crime spree to police.
Boebert now faces four felony counts of criminal possession of identification documents and one felony count of conspiracy to commit a felony, police said. He also faces multiple misdemeanors including counts of theft under $300 and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
One of the victims of Boebert’s alleged crime spree says her 11-year-old daughter was left feeling scared by the ordeal.

  • Aaron Bushnell Goes To Heaven.
Vigils have been held since the weekend for a U.S. soldier who died after setting himself on fire in front of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C., in an act of apparent protest over the war in Gaza.
Washington's Metropolitan Police Department identified the deceased as Aaron Bushnell, of San Antonio, Texas, a 25-year-old active duty member of the U.S. Air Force. The New York Times reported the incident on Sunday was broadcast live over the internet.
"I will no longer be complicit in genocide," Bushnell apparently said before dousing himself in a clear liquid and setting himself on fire, screaming, "Free Palestine," according to the Times.
In production, I usual run through an assortment of hand picked and sometimes random instrumentals.
For this episode, we run one instrumental on repeat.
The artist is Richie Rich.  The song is "Do G's Get To Go To Heaven", a dedication to Tupac Amaru Shakur from his Seasoned Veteran album.
I found it fitting. The episode ends with the fully produced song in it's entirety.

  • Coral Reefer Madness In The Florida Keys
    FROM UPI
Preliminary findings indicated less than 22% of approximately 1,500 staghorn coral surveyed remain alive. Only the two northernmost reefs surveyed, Carysfort Reef and Horseshoe Reef, had any living staghorn coral.
Of the five reefs surveyed, only Carysfort Reef, Sombrero Reef in the middle Keys and Eastern Dry Rocks off Key West had any living elkhorn coral.
Researchers found no live staghorn or elkhorn coral in Looe Key Reef in the lower Florida Keys.
Rough weather conditions prevented the research team from surveying more than the branching staghorn and elkhorn coral transplants, but Mission: Iconic Reefs said anecdotal evidence suggests boulder, massive and brain coral transplants fared better during the marine heat wave.

  • George Santos sues Jimmy Kimmel, claiming he tricked him
    FROM BUSINESS INSIDER
George Santos said Jimmy Kimmel "falsely represented" himself when requesting Cameo videos.
The former rep has brought a lawsuit against the TV show host, seeking at least $750,000 in damages.
Kimmel submitted several video requests to Santos under fake names, which Santos duly obliged.
Former Rep. George Santos has alleged that Jimmy Kimmel deceived him into making videos on Cameo that were used to ridicule him on the late-night television host's eponymous talk show.
In a civil lawsuit filed on Saturday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York against Kimmel, the disgraced Republican said Kimmel misrepresented himself to induce Santos into creating personalized videos "capitalizing on and ridiculing" his "gregarious personality," according to AP News.
Santos seeks at least $750,000 in damages for fraud, breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and copyright infringement. Walt Disney Co. and ABC were also named as defendants in the suit.

  • South East Texas Rental Issues In The News
    https://www.click2houston.com/news/local/2024/02/07/this-place-should-be-shutdown-property-owners-abandoned-se-houston-apartment-complex-city-said/
A spokesperson for the Department of Neighborhoods tells KPRC 2 the property owner of the Arlington Place Apartments in southeast Houston is abandoning the complex.
The complex is the focus of KPRC 2′s reporting following social media reports of trash piling up.
“The apartment complex at 116 E. Edgebrook has been abandoned by the property owner, leaving residents with no dumpster trash collection services. The Department of Neighborhoods has made attempts to reach the owner with no results,” a spokesperson with the Department of Neighborhoods tells KPRC 2. “The city is working on a coordinated effort involving several departments and possibly community agencies to respond to this situation, which poses health, safety, housing concerns for apartment residents.”

It is unclear what will happen to residents.
KPRC 2′s Rilwan Balogun obtained nearby security footage showing Waste Management removing its dumpsters from the property on January 2.
A spokesperson wouldn’t explain why due to privacy but said the account is closed.
Before the dumpsters were removed, the trash overflowed. Now, tenants told Balogun they had no choice but to leave the trash out since they’re still paying for it.

  • Republican LawMakers Think BLACK Bears Are Smoking Crack So Shoot Them
A Florida lawmaker seeking looser regulations on the killing of wildlife has claimed that black bears high on crack are breaking into people’s homes and “tearing them apart”.
The allegation from Republican state congressman Jason Shoaf, whose biography reveals a passion for hunting, is bizarre even by the already unorthodox standards of Florida, which in recent times has boasted cocaine sharks and marauding herpes-ridden monkeys.
“We’re talking about the ones that are on crack, and they break your door down, and they’re standing in your living room growling and tearing your house apart,” Shoaf told a meeting of the Florida legislature’s house infrastructure strategies committee discussing his House Bill 87, which would remove most penalties for killing bears without authorization.
“When you run into one of these crack bears, you should be able to shoot it, period. And you shouldn’t have to pause or be afraid you’re gonna get arrested or harassed or pay fines. That’s just crazy.”
