Most of the guests I have on this podcast do silly and frivolous jobs like telling jokes or pretending to be other people for a living. Jono Brand and Amanda McGregor are a little bit different. They still tell jokes and pretend to be other people - but they use their silliness and frivolity as a force for good by helping sick kids cope with the uncertainty and worry of hospital and treatment in the guise of Captain Starlight.

For over 30 years the Starlight Children’s Foundation has used play, social connection and creativity to support children and young people in some of their toughest times and to positively change their healthcare experience.
