Teddy Roosevelt famous said "speak softly and carry a big stick." Knowing him, he was probably just done shouting "BULLY!" at someone right before, so take that with a grain of salt. But TR was correct in stating that there's nothing like having a nice stick in your hand (keep your minds out of the gutters) to make you feel alive.
