On October 2nd, 2017 we lost another musician that has been a staple of classic rock radio for over 40 years, Tom Petty. Throughout his post Beatles career Harrison’s musical collaborators were often close friends as well, and that goes for Tom Petty. It’s no wonder that Petty and fellow Traveling Wilbury Jeff Lynne inducted George Harrison into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame posthumously in 2004. Tonight we’re going to celebrate Petty’s music not only as the singer/songwriter who fronted the Heartbreakers but as a member of The Traveling Wilburys.
