Despite economic uncertainties Las Vegas isn't slowing down with new projects. This week we learned that the iconic Venetian Resort in Las Vegas will undergo a $1 billion top to bottom refresh including renovated rooms and a lot more. On the South side of the Strip we also saw plans for a new 43 story casino across from Cosmo get approved.

In other news the All-Net Arena project has come back with new funding and impressive renderings. Will it ever get built? Plus pizza ATMs have arrived in Vegas, the M&Ms store turned 25, a Punk Rock museum is coming to town, carnival slots are the big thing and we update you on the transition from Mirage to Hard Rock.

Another big Vegas casino has announced an expansion including a new tower and hundreds of new rooms. Following their very successful partnership as the official hotel of the Raiders the M Resort has announced a $206 million expansion including a new tower and more. After selling Tropicana it seems that Penn National Gaming is looking to spend some of their proceeds.

In other news we also learned that Mandalay Bay will be paying $100M to completely overhaul their convention center. An upgraded design plus tons of new tech will be on offer when it is completed in 2024. We also discuss the When We Were Young music festival and its interesting tickets, how Flamingo wants to charge $100 for a Pepsi and why the minor league concessions in Vegas aren't a good deal at all.

Things are moving along in Las Vegas as the MSG Sphere is showing off some of its bright LED panels ahead of an install. While the structure is largely finished on the outside, a lot of work still needs to be done in time for the concert hall's opening in late 2023. Speaking of 2023, F1 has finally announced the date of the race coming to Las Vegas. The Sphere will be a big part of it too!

In other news Station Casinos is getting approval for yet another local megaresort. This new one will replace two demolished resorts in North Las Vegas and will sit just down the street from their previous Aliante property. We also learned of a casino rebranding to cater to Latino audiences, $27 cocktails at the new Caesars Palace bar, tier matching at Sahara, Strat becomes "Elite", the secret airport tunnel not many know about and which band is coming to Park MGM for a residency.

As Cheech and Chong day descended on Las Vegas we learned more info about the new high-end shopping district that will be housed at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. We also saw both Allegiant Stadium and the MSG Sphere catch fire, but thankfully neither did a ton of damage.

It was a wild week in Las Vegas with a weekend security breach at the airport that lead to insane crowding and lines when everyone had to be re-screened.
