Kriss is joined by Justin (@LJay90) from ThreeFifsPodcast for a special Insanity Check episode where Justin explains what Net Neutrality is, how we got here, why it's bad and what we can do to fight back.

Our full, spoiler-free, Star Wars: The Last Jedi review is here! We break down what we loved about this movie and why it just might be our favorite Star Wars film. There's a lot of story in this film and that's a good thing. It doesn't get bogged down and while it clocks in at 2 1/2 hours and feels like it, it doesn't feel too long. The Last Jedi is a visual masterpiece and you're definitely going to want to see this in a real IMAX theater to fully appreciate it.

To be fair, Lavar did promise that all three of his sons would be pro basketball players. He never said in America.

This week, we've got MTR's own Ashanti to cover all the sports news that's out there. And there is a LOT, and it's always nice to get an outsider's perspective on these things. Sure, some of these things we cover feel like the sports business as usual, but it's nice to be reminded that sports business as usual can be pretty messed up sometimes.

As always Agents of Shield doesn't waste any time. They pack so much into each episode and never really give us a chance to breathe. Episode 3 of Season 5, A Life Spent, has about 3 different plot points going on at once but they're all related and have us wondering about where the show is going (in a good way). We break down this episode as well as give some of our theories (I hope you all are prepared for LMD Fitz) and you're not going to want to miss it.

This episode felt like a big step back for the character of Oliver Queen into some behavior we thought we moved on from. It also felt like too much of a retread of plot points from previous seasons. There are a few small changes to the story that could have been made to give this a more fresh take on the "betrayed by someone on the team" angle and also protect the character changes they've made to Oliver.

Here it is! The last Insanity Check of 2017. Kriss is joined by Ashanti for this episode and it's a fun one. We hit some of the more serious topics involving men & sexual assault, Trump voters being idiots and how technology has erased privacy and it's too late to do anything about it.

Coqui & P-Funk are back with another non-Premium episode of Molecules & Shit, just in time for the Holidays! Give it a listen and if you want to hear more, sign up for a MTR Premium account here.

After Kara provided us with the clapback for the ages in the crossover, Reign begins her mission, dispensing her special brand of justice that includes not only a lot of murder and an attempt on the life of Morgan Edge, but also includes her beating the brakes off of Kara.  It was literally a combination of a Fellowship of the Rings Gandalf moment and a Rocky "Throw the damn towel" moment.  We also get our Lena/Jimmy ship sailing, and the ongoing awkwardness between Kara, Mon-El, and Imra.

Kriss & Dpalm are back for another Super Tuesday Recap episode. We're discussing the mid-season finales of The Flash (S4E9 Don't Run) and Legends of Tomorrow (S3E9 Beebo The God of War). We're also trying something new with this episode. First up, we're combining the review into just one episode instead of two separate ones. We know most people listen to both and instead of clogging the feeds with two separate downloads we figured it would be easier to just put up one episode.

Steven Spielberg's The Post is an easy contender for Best Picture this year. Aside from starring two heavy hitters like Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks, the films subject matter is is extremely relevant in the era of Trump. The film follows the story of how the Washington Post became a national paper thanks to the publishing of the Pentagon Papers and their fight against the Nixon White House which sought to shut them down.
