We’re starting 2018 off right by going through the essential comic books for Scott Summers and Alex Summers. That’s right it's Cyclops and Havok time. Any chance we can get to talk X-Men, we’re going to leap at it. This was a fun episode to do because Cyclops and Havok have such long and rich histories not only with the X-Men but X-Factor as well.

Shanna, DPalm and The Doctor discuss Marvel's latest Netflix series, Punisher, and talk about themes, drama, and most importantly, we rate our thirst levels. Guess who's number one!

It's that time again! Our 2018 Movie Preview is here. Kriss is joined by Phenom, Tim and Joi to discuss the list of movies coming out next year. We discuss the films we're all waiting for like Black Panther, A Wrinkle in Time, Infinity Wars and Incredibles 2. We also ask why some films were greenlit and if some films are even going to be released. It's a great episode you won't want to miss.

The Shape of Water is Guillermo Del Toro’s best film since Pan’s Labyrinth and quite honestly, might be his best film ever. First off, Sally Hawkins pulls off an amazing performance as Elisa. Hawkins sells a character who is mute using all of her acting talents outside of speech and she nails it. With this performance, Hawkins is a clear front runner for Best Actress.

Double O Fitz is Back! The last Agents of Shield episode of 2017 is here and it tells us the story of how Fitz got to "the future" with his team. This episode also features the return of Nick Blood as Agent Hunter and we never thought we would say this but "Damn it was good to see Hunter again." This episode answers a lot of questions and ties all the way back to Season 3 but as usual with Agents of SHIELD, answers come with new questions.

With our fearless host under the weather, this bonus episode of the podcast has two guests to help carry the load, Justin from ThreeFifs and Nata from UpRoxx, and the three of them break down real locker room talk as the #metoo movement hits sports. And it's about time. We talk about Jerry Richardson's 'decision' to sell the Panthers, wonder what else the NFL is scared of, and decry the culture that has victimized women. If it can be destroyed by the light, then it needs to be brought into that light.

We're back with another movie review, this time to review the movie Downsizing, starring Matt Damon, Hong Chau, Kristen Wig, Jason Sudeikis and Christoph Waltz. The first thing to know about Downsizing is that the trailers are a bit of a lie. Some actors like Jason Sudeikis appear often in the trailer but have smaller roles and then there's characters like Hong Chau's that barely appear and yet have a significant role in this movie.

John Minus of the Decepticomics joins UDPod today, as we lean on his vault of knowledge from a lifetime of absorbing New York sports media. We talk about Stanton's kinda shady move to NYC, discover a well of hatred for Phil Jackson I didn't think was possible and decry the alleged poor treatment of an alleged good quarterback. Plus, I lie to one of my friends, we say happy trails to Devin Hester, and we follow the Ball family to Lithuania.

Cassandra Cain and Kate Kane. Now, Kate really isn't a Batgirl as she never took up the mantle and her origin as Batwoman is pretty much autonomous from Batman but we're including her in this series anyway. Cassandra is also an interesting case. She's definitely a Batgirl, as she's the first to hold that mantle and get her own solo series, but in many ways she's closer to a Robin and a good case could be made for her being a direct heir to the Bat.

We're back to discuss this week's episode of Agents of Shield, A Life Earned. This is also the first episode since the news of the Disney buyout of 21st Century Fox and so we have plenty to talk about. First, for Agents of SHIELD, Coulson and May uncover what Kasius and the Kree are up to and it's not good. Mack remains the moral center for the team and we have to remember how painful the Framework was for him last season. There's also a really great tense scene with Kasius questioning Jemma and Daisy.
