Look, this is the best comic book show on TV and it's not even close. And it really shines when it's going into a break. Not too many shows pack as much into 42 minutes of television like Agents of Shield and this episode, Self Control, has so much.

Kriss & Dpalm discuss Jed Whedon's debut as a director and how some of the shots in this episode were perfectly picked, the shocking twists and turns and then we end with everyone's favorite: Our predictions on who isn't going to make it. We then take listener emails (of which we got a lot) and then talk briefly about some Marvel TV news (Inhumans, Namor?, X-Men).

Gorilla City. They not only did Gorilla City on TV but added in a gladiator style fight in an arena between Barry and Solovar. Sure, this episode has some issue but...Gorilla City. At the very least we have to be happy with that.

Arrow's latest episode, Spectre of the Gun, delves into the real world political arena by focusing on gun control...and it's one of Arrow's best episodes. This really felt like one of the Hard Traveling Heroes issues from Green Lantern/Green Arrow. This episode does a really good job of making Oliver Queen himself matter (and not the Green Arrow) as well as giving Wild Dog a backstory.

With no new episode of The Flash this week, Kriss and Dpalm decided to fill that time with a special episode talking about movie news. We start with good news, discussing Avengers Infinity War starting production, Black Panther/Thor Ragnorok concept art and Marvel Studio's well oiled machine. Then comes the bad stuff. Agents of SHIELD is so good. This latest episode, The Man Behind The Shield, does a great job of cramming so many things into one episode, yet not feeling bloated. We get a flashback to early Coulson & May when they were still early in SHIELD, Coulson channeling M Bison in his confrontation with Anton/The Superior and then a reveal with who is a LMD that is setting up for a horror show next episode. Lots to talk about.
