MTR Network Main Feed

Last Character Corner of 2016! We wrap up our Teen Titans coverage with a discussion with watching the Titans mature as well as the next generation (Young Justice) becoming the new Teen Titans. Part 2 focuses on the relationships amongst the group, Cyborg's development and a lot of tragedies & deaths. Oh and throw in a continuation of Deathstroke's tragic relationship with the Teen Titans.

It's been a great year for not only the MTR Network but the Character Corner. We can't wait to come back in 2017 for more. Hope you enjoy!

Kriss & Phenom review the last blockbuster of 2016 Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. This is a film that is basically telling the story that is mentioned in the scroller of Episode IV, about how the rebels got the plan for the Death Star. And it is very very good. Disney has found a way to revitalize the Star Wars franchise and at the same time fix small mistakes and annoying plot holes in the original trilogy. You're definitely going to want to check this out. Listen to our full (non-spoiler) review.

Kriss & Phenom review Collateral Beauty, or as Kriss calls it "The Ghost Pepper Challenge". Why does Kriss call it that? Because the challenge is to see how long into this movie can you go before Will Smith breaks you and causes you to cry uncontrollably. Seriously, this is a really good film that is great for Christmas and make you really want to be around the people you love. Listen to our full review.

College football season is over, so I thought it safe to invite my Ohio State fan friend Eric on the podcast. I was wrong. He celebrates underwhelming football, we talk about the final NCAA Playoff matchups, courts determining that college athletes aren't employees, Bomani Jones speaking for all Atlanta sports fans, Russel Westbrook might be a robot, and we celebrate the pettiness of LeBron James.

Topics:

• Tip of the cap to Lamar Jackson! Stay away from that one guy though...
• Art Briles vs. Baylor just got really real.
• That NCAA money.
• UGA mailbagging.
• Atlanta sports fan sadness.
• Earl Thomas on that real.
• Russell is doing it.
• LeBron on that pettiness.

Double Winter Finale time! Kriss & Dpalm are here to recap the winter finales for Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. With What We Leave Behind, Arrow answers the question of why this season is feeling so much like the first season. This show does a great job tying everything from this season to Season One with the reveal (or maybe not) of who Prometheus and why he's after Oliver. In The Chicago Way, Legends of Tomorrow brings together the Legion of Doom (Thawne, Darkh, Merlyn) to give the Legends hell. Snart is also back (kinda) and we've missed him.  Check out our recap and also listen to use geek out over the Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer and other Disney releases coming in 2017.

Marvel wants us to be happy. There are very few shows that can put so much into one episode and not feel crammed. We get the conclusion (?) of Eli and Robbie's story while Aida's really starts to begin. Bryan Singer needs to watch Agents of Shield to see how to really do speed effects. Oh and we get a #BlameKriss (just as bad as The Flash) and once again, Kriss is way too happy about it.

We also talk about Yo-Yo getting a 6 episode digital series (Slingshot), the Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2 trailer and the teaser for Spider-Man Homecoming .
