Kriss and Dpalm are back and Agents of SHIELD is still so good. It is at its best when it is being a spy show and the addition of LMDs really add to the spy elements. In Wake Up, we spend a lot of time trying to figure out who the other LMD is that Radcliffe created and it makes you suspicious of a lot of folks. And by the end of the episode, there are still questions as to who is real and who isn't.

We also talk about the Batman/Flash Rebirth crossover that will deal with the Watchmen, The Flash movie being reset again, Coates and The Crew and why Marvel matters.

Kriss is back and so is The Flash! Kriss and Dpalm discuss the latest episode of The Flash, Borrowing Problems From the Future. Barry is haunted by the knowledge and image of Iris being killed in the future and turns into kind of a jerk towards Wally. We also get the soft launch of HR's pet project, the Star Labs museum. This episode is great for catching back up to speed and like the episode before the break, gives you an ending of happiness that we know won't last.

Supergirl is back from its break and that means Shanna & The Doctor are  back as well. They review and recap the latest episode of Supergirl, The Supergirl Lives.

Kara is feeling out of sorts coming off of the world saving she engaged in with the rest of the Justice League. To get around feeling “betwixt and between,” she takes on a story of a missing girl Izzy (Harley Quinn Smith, Yoga Hosers), and uncovers a slaver ring coordinated by a race called the Maaldorians, the Dominators, and Earth’s very own Roulette (Dichen Lachman, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.).  Winn goes through a crisis when he’s almost killed on patrol with Guardian.  Alex and Maggie’s relationship is tested by adversity.  We get more of a hint of Mon El’s secret, which will impact the relationships with the people around him.

Full disclosure: I was NOT ready for this podcast. I never considered in the planning that I could live in a world where not only are the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl, but that the Packers would get mollywopped along the way. Thankfully, I've got my dad back on to help me get through all these new and unfamiliar emotions. We also talk baseball HOF voting, college football players continuing to be screwed over, blowing up the Clippers and moving the Raiders.

Topics:

• Baseball Hall of Fame voting.
• Oregon football players hospitalized.
• UConn football pulling scholarships.
• Time to blow up the Clips?
• Melo vs Phil. FIGHT!
• Pop does not have time for your bullshit.

First Character Corner of 2017 is here! Kriss and Dpalm start the year off talking about Piotr Rasputin (Colossus) and Kitty Pryde (Shadowcat). We start with Giant Size X-Men #1 that gives us our first introduction of Colossus along with a bunch of other fan favorites like Storm & Nightcrawler and the second full appearance of Wolverine. We then go through the Claremont years and discuss then the introduction of Kitty Pryde and why the character is so important. The relationship between Peter and Kitty is a bit weird because of their ages but it develops into something less creepy.  This Character Corner also was a great excuse for us to re-read Joss Whedon’s Astonishing X-Men run which at its core is a Colossus/Shadowcat story. Along the way we geek out over how much we love the X-Men growing up and the potentials for doing Wolverine and Cyclops Character Corners.     We talked for almost 2 hours and still cut out a lot, so give this a listen and let us know what you think

• Giant Size X-M3n #1 - First Appearance of Colossus
• Uncanny X-Men #129 - First Appearance of Kitty Pryde
• Uncanny X-Men #141 & 142 - Days of Future Past

• Uncanny X-Men #174 - Kitty and Colossus officially start dating
• Secret Wars
  • Secret Wars #5  - Colossus cheats
• Uncanny X-Men #183 - Colossus breaks up with Kitty, gets into a bar fight with Juggernaut

• Uncanny X-Men #285 - Finds out his brother Mikhail is still alive
• Uncanny X-Men #295 - Mikhail drowns the Morlocks and himself
• Uncanny X-Men #303 - Illyana dies of the Legacy virus
• Fatal Attraction
  • Colossus leaves the X-Men to join Magneto
• Uncanny X-Men 390
