公司会议正式开始前 作为主持人--host 需要简单首先介绍稍些重要的但不常来的参会者， 尤其是在电话会议的场合 大家并不在同一个办公室内面对面的时候。 例如，可以这样开场：

Foul基础含义是指令人生厌的恶臭，或者令人不愉快的，犯规的。所以就容易理解Fall foul

of是指冒犯某人或与某人起冲突的意思了。

在商业英语，可以调动那些无形的资源甚至资金：

这个词在商业英语也具有类似的内涵。

“muddle through” 是指没有经过特别计划或努力而获取了成功。例如生意上，工作上“混得过去” “应付过去”

It is a bad year for business, we'll muddle through somehow.

They may be able to muddle through thenext three years like this.

当股市暴跌时，被困的投资者得就被收割。Whenstock market is tanking, trapped investors get harvested.

散户是冒险的韭菜吗?Are retail investors sitting ducks taking on risk？

最后，讲个境外生活的例子: 当我的车在一个治安不好的社区抛锚时，我觉得自己像个韭菜，等着被抢。
