When things become difficult in our faith journey, do we accept defeat and uncertainty, or dig deeper for answers? When we come under spiritual attack, do we run and hide or stand and fight? When we are persecuted and met with resistance, do we hide our light or refuse to let the enemy win?

Have you ever been betrayed? Have you ever betrayed someone else?
Today we continue to tell the story to the Nations: Jesus came to set all people free. However, if we are honest, our story is not perfect. Today we shout Hosanna and glorify God, but what about tomorrow? Just as the Jerusalem chants quickly changed from ones of praise to shouts for Christ’s crucifixion, so we too sometimes turn away from Jesus in an instant of opportunity and sin. Is our betrayal any different from those in Jerusalem in the final days in the life of Jesus?

Today we continue to proclaim the story of Jesus and consider the amazing reality that His story does not begin on the cross, nor even in Bethlehem, but even before time itself… Jesus Is! Now, as our story draws closer to the Cross, we celebrate God’s faithfulness throughout time in a story that never changes and does not have its origins in the mind of man, but in the mind of God. In this true story, God’s steadfast love endures forever!

It takes patiences, time, and investment in the other person to maintain the relationship through the disputes and disagreements so that a deeper understanding of each other can finally be achieved. It also takes forgiveness rooted in love, which is the true currency of investment in relationships.

Many broken relationships are mended by simply listening, asking questions, and seeking understanding.
