Where did Christianity come from? How is it different from every other religion in the world that was thought up by and created by some random guy somewhere in a cave?
The Transfiguration of Jesus is a mystery that modern believers rarely study or consider. But, perhaps it can give us some answers to these questions. What does it mean? What is its significance? Why does it matter for our story today?
Today we continue to proclaim the story of Jesus and consider the amazing reality that His story does not begin on the cross, nor even in Bethlehem, but even before time itself… Jesus Is! Now, as our story draws closer to the Cross, we celebrate God’s faithfulness throughout time in a story that never changes and does not have its origins in the mind of man, but in the mind of God. In this true story, God’s steadfast love endures forever!
