As Dr. Death S01 moves into the back half of the season, the wheels begin to fall off for Christopher Duntsch. In addition to another botched surgery (this time on childhood bestie Jerry), ADA Michelle Shughart partners with Dr. Kirby and Henderson to get an indictment.

Continuing the horrific story of Christopher Duntcsh, Dr. Death follows the disgraced surgeon through his residency at the University of Tennessee and attempts make his fortune in biotech.

Meanwhile Drs. Henderson and Kirby track down Duntsch’s supervisors at UT and Baylor-Plano demanding to know why they never reported his incompetence. Director Jennifer Morrison utilizes several creative techniques in episode 4, fully emerging us in Duntsch’s world.

Debuting in 2021, Dr. Death chronicles the botched surgeries performed in Texas by surgeon Christopher Duntsch, as well as the efforts by colleagues Dr. Henderson and Dr. Kirby to stop him.

The first two episodes introduce our characters and bounce around between several timelines, including 2012 and 1991, when Duntsch abandoned College football to become a doctor.

Featuring Joshua Jackson, Alec Baldwin, Christian Slater and Grace Gummer, Dr. Death will make your ears wince (the surgery foley!) and your blood boil (the cover-up by medical professionals!)

In 1928, 40 year old Anna Ecklund underwent an exorcism for a possession she'd had since she was 14. The experience lasted 23 days, was eventually documented in Time Magazine and is the source of two different movies, including The Ritual starring Al Pacino and Dan Stevens.
