This week Kevin is back in charge of the music and brings what he feels is complete nostalgia. He also tries proving the whole concept of this podcast to Steve and all of the listeners this week. Plays a song that will be different from what everyone knows just so there is no preconceived thought! The biggest question is, what will Steve think? You won’t want to miss his reaction!

Kevin openly admits to almost having an obsession with this band back in the late 90’s/early 2000’s. It is almost like this band could not have done wrong. It came at a point in his life where music was really taking over as far as passions. Always being a music fan growing up he was always into what his parents liked or his brothers, this was a time where he was coming into his own and finding music he loved to listen to. Even going back to listening to this band today brings back so many memories which is awesome even if he doesn’t listen to them nearly as much as he used to. What bands have had that affect on you? Reach out to us below and lets talk music! Tell us what bands you love from your younger years or those bands today that you are just totally into! Who knows, you could be showing us a band that we don’t know of yet. Don’t be shy.

Follow us on social media and check out our patreon page! If you are also a frequent podcast listener give our podcast a rating and review! It truly does help us out and we are super grateful for you and your support! As always, we will see you next Monday!

We like to have fun here at Camp MCM! Do you like to have fun? Good! Assuming your answer was “yes” to that question. This week Steve is up and he is doing what he does best. Showing us all a band he is into and the best part is, you get to hear the band and listen to why he is into this band. Tune in to see what you think of the music and the stories to go along with it.

Music can be happy, sad, serious, or even silly. There are bands and artists out there to fit just about any mood you may be in. Sometimes your mood is relaxed and you just want to have some fun jamming out to a band. This week’s band could be that band for you! It has been said many, many times on this podcast that the wonderful thing about music is it is your opinion on what you like and there really isn’t anyone or anything that can take that away from you. If a band reminds you of a certain time in your life, so be it! If a band just puts a smile on your face while listening to them, then again so be it! Just stick with what you love but do not be closed off to other options because that is when you could be truly missing out on something.

We appreciate all of you that tune in to this podcast whether it is the first episode you have listened to or if you tune in each and every Monday. Just know it is greatly appreciated. Don’t forget to check out our links below if you want to come into contact with us. Also do not forget to subscribe to the podcast and give us a rating because believe it or not, it really helps us out! Also, if you feel inclined to check out our Patreon page you can do so below as well. This is so much fun and we hope you are enjoying the ride as well and as always, we will see you next Monday!

Welcome back to the next installment of the Music Crush Monday Podcast! This week Kevin is showing a band he says he “Loves” to listen to. That's right, the “L” word was used! It is time to check what this band sounds like and what Steve’s reaction is.

There is no question about it, this is a heavy sounding band and even though Kevin generally leads towards those heavier sounding bands, this is one that is nearing the top of the list of aggressiveness and intensity. Right out the gate the level is at a 10. It is one of those bands that Kevin can put on when feeling stressed or is having a rough day at the office. It is funny how counterproductive it could be to listen to something so aggressive to calm stress. What bands do you listen to that has that same effect? Are there certain bands or genres that you tend to turn to in certain moods? Please share!

This band has multiple elements going on in their music but primarily in the hardcore and metal. It is another debatable topic with genres and subgenres. There is metalcore as their primary sound but they deem themselves as a hardcore punk band. With multiple albums put out this band has seen some success and took a hiatus but came back in 2018 with some new music and touring. Once the world heads back to some normalcy I am sure this band will be hitting the road again. Reach out to us below with your thoughts on this week’s band, music, and their story. While you are at it be sure to leave a like and review for the show as it really helps! Don’t forget to tune in next week as Steve shows us all another band. Will he use the “L” word as well? Tune in to find out! We’ll see you next Monday!

It is Monday and by now you SHOULD know the drill! Each week we present a band that one of us personally loves and this week that one of us is none other than Steve. He will be showing us a band that he likes and as we all listen to the stories that come along with it, there is a chance you will also like this band.

Steve digs back to the 90s for this one but for good reason. It might bring him back to a place where he wanted to re-visit or was reminded of how much he used to love to listen to this particular band. There is a moment in the episode where Kevin hasn’t even heard the song played but it brings him back to when he was younger at a friends house. It is amazing how music can do that! Just listening to a song that came from a certain time period can instantly put you there. We have said it many times on this podcast but music is such a wonderful thing and that is just one of the many reasons.

For the band this week, there is a huge hit that they had and were successful from it but they have more to offer. Did you have a pre-conceived thought of this band after you figured out who it was? Reach out to us and tell us about it. There is no shame, we just love to talk music! So don’t be shy and use any or all of the links to contact us directly. Thank you for supporting this podcast and tuning in each week. We have not missed a Monday yet so be sure to tune in next week and to pass along the good news. It is easy to share this podcast with your friends and loved ones! We appreciate your support and as always, we will see you next Monday!

Welcome to another episode of the Music Crush Monday Podcast! This week Kevin is playing a band that has been on his list from the start of this podcast and felt it was a good time to play them. There are no surprises this week when it comes to the style and the music but the big surprise will be if Steve enjoys the music or not!

On this podcast, the guys like to have fun and goof around as they talk about music but sometimes it is time to talk about something serious. This is not a political podcast or one that touches often on social issues but because of the current state in this world, Kevin ties this band and their music into that. When it comes to music, in the end, it does not even matter what you look like, what your background is, or even where you come from. Music is a language we can all speak if you take the time to listen. It helps people in the darkest of times or even sheds new light on something for someone. Regardless, you hear music with your ears and feel it in your soul. We at the Music Crush Monday Podcast want to stand with the Black Lives Matter movement and hope that change comes out of all of this because there is no other choice, things have to change for the better.

We hope you enjoyed the music this week and the discussions that went along with it. Do not forget to check out the band links listed below if you want to hear the band a little more. Also do not forget to check out our contact links and follow us on our social media pages so you can stay up to date on all that is going on in MCM land. Thank you for joining us this week and as always, we will see you next Monday!

Happy Monday to you all! The guys are back to bring you more music, more information, more stories, and more fun. Steve is presenting the music this week and as you know he always brings it when its his turn to present. The biggest question as always is, will Kevin guess the correct band? Will he have a guess at all? Is this week’s band All American Rejects? Tune in to find out!

This week’s band has some interesting musicianship and is fun to listen to. There are some interesting dynamics that go on as well as some different emotions. It is always cool to have bands like this in your arsenal as you browse through your catalog and want something a little different from the rest. It is also fun listening to bands that can set the “scene” a little differently than others and what that means is creating an atmosphere with their music. Again, something good to have in your arsenal to impress your friends with. What bands do you listen to that are just a little different from the rest of music catalog? All of our contact information is listed below so do not be shy! Give the podcast a follow and social media and drop a line to say hello and suggest bands to check out!

If you also feel so inclined to support the podcast, check out the Patreon page where as little as $1 a month can get you some additional content from the guys. The tiers go up from there so go check it out! Thank you again for joining us this week and as always, we’ll see you next Monday!

This week Kevin is up and is bringing a band that he has been itching to play on the podcast. Will Steve know who the band is? Probably, but will he like the band? Tune in to find out if you hear the good ‘ol Ric Flair “Wooo!” or a Papa Steve “And that’s Jazz” or even if the USA Basketball Dream Team is mentioned. So many good things in this episode!

It has been shared before that sometimes you run across a band that immediately hooks you in. There was a time when Kevin was getting into this band and he messaged Steve about how the song he was listening to was just making him smile he was enjoying it so much. Steve knew that Kevin liked this band but didn’t know it was “Podcast Worthy” Listen in as Kevin goes through the band’s history and what it is that he likes about the band. Even if a band isn’t groundbreaking or discovering a new sound to share with the world, they can still be just as effective. This band plays simple-sounding but incredibly catchy music and it comes down to songwriting and song structure. Give this band a listen and let us know what you think!

As always reach out to us below and let us know some of your favorite bands to check out. All of our contact information is listed a well as our Patreon page. If you would like to support this podcast please check out the Patreon page and even giving as little as $1 a month you could have access to bonus material.
