He also served in the Coast Guard, worked in restaurants on the East and West coast, and owned the award-winning restaurant, Proof. Now, he's the director of culinary operations for the Justice League of Food. We talk about his varied experiences in the food industry. Then, we'll discuss Chinese New Year, and how you can plan an authentic menu with some recipes from our current issue. Finally, we play trivia and make a meal from Haley's fridge.
It's the new year and we're off to a fresh start! We have some non-alcoholic drink options for you from our Jan/Feb 2020 issue of Cuisine at Home, plus a few lower-calorie cocktail options. To finish off our first episode of 2020, we play Let's Make a Meal with ingredients from Maddy's fridge and trivia to close out the show. (There were some real stumpers this time around!)
