In 2010, two days after Christmas, Iain hugged his daughter goodbye—believing she was simply going to the library. He never saw her again.

What followed was a shocking case of familial human trafficking, international abduction, and systemic failure. The U.S. Embassy called it “out of jurisdiction.” Courts ignored his pleas. Desperate, he confronted the man he believed was his daughter’s abuser—only to be incarcerated for 50 months in Poland.

Iain spent four years in prison, wrote a book, and is now speaking worldwide, still fighting to be heard.
