Blu Cakes had given me that VOICE...

In the year that the love he and I shared, went sour, some days felt like I couldn't breath or focus... yet, I had meetings with stakeholders, turned up for meetings with potential investors and associates. I read, planned towards our 10th anniversary and Outlet opening and actualized early the next year 2014.

There's a limit to what the physical man can take,

Pain is deafening

Heart numbing

And seriously blind siding

I got thinking about what had changed...

In 2010, a year in which I had nearly crossed to the other side,

I noticed that she had changed, Her laughter doesn't nearly hit the eyes.

The only thing this last romantic venture may have done for her was,

some few months to believe yet again,

And be genuinely happy once more.

But the tears and the hurting in my chest indicated differently.

I Stood up hastily from the reception area of my office, into my personal office,

hands trembling, and one of them clutching my chest as though to stop the loud beating of my heart.

It is one thing that Mr Akpan had suffered great loss, but, the thoughts in his head was too riotous and a taboo to voice it.
