Dr Calum Downie (PhD) is a highly qualified and experienced presenter in areas included ageing, exercise, anatomy, and biomechanics. He has more than 19 years’ experience in the fitness industry and has spent over 17 years in the education of exercise science and physical health professionals at all levels. He has also spent over 13 years in ageing research. Today Calum discusses the key factors relating to physical health.

Steve is a Sports Physiotherapist and has over 20 years of clinical experience. He is a Director of RockTape in Australia and is the lead instructor for the Australasian team of RockTape instructors. Steve owns and runs the Waurn Ponds clinic of the Marna Physio Group in Geelong. This ensures he stays up-to-date with all things patient-related.
Steve talks to us about the evolution of RockTape and how they have evolved to become the industry leaders that they are today.

Madelaine is a Mother, a Myotherapist and a Personal Trainer who is passionate about women’s health.

With over a decade of experience in women’s health, Madelaine initially began her journey as a personal trainer, specialising in pre and postnatal fitness and recovery. As her passion grew, she integrated her Myotherapy skills, focusing on pregnancy, postpartum and c-section rehabilitation.

In March 2023, Maddie launched her first course, C-Section Release and Rehabilitation with a mission to empower practitioners to support women. Her ongoing dedication sees her actively sharing her knowledge, and nurturing a community of practitioners committed to enhancing women's health. Maddie is currently running her C-Section Release courses in Brisbane, Melbourne & Sydney for 2024. 

Today we chat with Sally Mason from MIMT in Melbourne. Sally has been in private practice and running her own business since 2010. She has been a teacher at MIMT for 10 years and recently worked at the 2024 Australian Open Tennis Tour in Melbourne. We chat to Sally about how she become involved with Tennis Australia and how she brought her myotherapy skill set to Australian and international tennis players.

In this episode we chat with Sue Butcher from the Oedema institute. Sue has a career spanning over 20 years and provides educational workshops and training for health professionals in how to best treat and manage lymphoedema and other oedema related pathologies.

Emerging Myotherapist of the year winner Skye Meredith is with us today to talk all things navigating life as a new graduate Myo. Skye recently graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Myotherapy from Torrens University in Melbourne. Skye is now working full time in private practice with a strong interest in working with running related lower limb and ankle injuries, particularly in trail runners. She is also our winner of the 2023 Emerging Myotherapist of the Year award.
