Myth of the 20th Century

With George W. Bush and Barack Obama presiding over one middle eastern conflict, financial crisis, and social justice campaign after another, people in 2012 in the United States looked to a seemingly nice, elderly man by the name of Ron Paul who promised to pull us out of foreign wars, end inflationary money printing, and let people do as they pleased as long as it didn’t hurt anyone else. These libertarian talking points - long touted in closed right-wing circles for years since the John Birch Society - suddenly seemed even more appealing as Edward Snowden’s revelations of warrantless wiretaps on Americans by the NSA caused people to distrust the federal government, and wanted an alternative that offered less, not more. But the fundamental flaw of libertarian politics is that it’s always been unwilling to exercise power as a point of principle, and thus is never able to gain it. Today we are re-joined by Thomas777 and Ace Niederhoff to talk about Ron Paul’s time in Congress and why his attempts at becoming president ultimately were shut down by the very corrupt institutions he so often criticized.

George Lincoln Rockwell, having served as a naval aviator and commander in the US armed forces in World War II and the Korean War, returned to civilian life as an illustrator and worked in the publishing industry. It didn’t take long for him to start noticing the prevalence of Jewish Americans in the profession, and their disproportionate promotion of things like modern art, which he found offensive and subversive to European culture. Over time, as his studies into the world wars and forces behind them intensified, he began to believe that behind the attacks on Western Civilization in the forms of Bolshevism and race mixing was one culprit - namely, international Jewry. By 1959, he founded the American Nazi Party, and by 1967, after failing to win election, his wife having left him, and staging multiple publicity stunts and demonstrations against the Civil Rights Movement, Rockwell was assassinated by a former member of the ANP. As part of our ongoing series with Thomas777 discussing dissident right wing voices in America, we assess whether George Lincoln Rockwell was a man ahead of his time, or merely a showman determined to keep himself at the center of attention no matter the cost.

In civil society, we are taught that violence is only justified in special contexts, carried out with careful measure and in the defense of that which is good. Extending that logic, warfare becomes just if the cause is righteous - against a foe who is corrupt - and justifies the sometimes brutal nature of conflict. This notion of moral war extends back centuries, and is used - and abused - by many an opportunistic politician to take power selfishly at the expense of others, which sadly seems to be a pattern held to this very day. In the Christian world, the Crusades are often seen as the prime example of a holy war fought against invaders to retake Christian lands lost a millennia ago - and is thus venerated and scorned in equal measure by its proponents and critics alike. Tonight, we are joined by Trent from the Boniface Group to examine the virtues of the men who chose to fight this multi-century battle, where they may have misstepped, what motivated them to drop nearly everything to put it on the line for their people and faith - and why we today in our slowly decaying society may need once again to rise and answer the call of something greater.

Since the discovery the New World by European explorers and the settlement of North America by English colonists, the land now occupied by the United States stood out for its tremendous natural wealth that remained untouched by the great population centers and civilizations of the Old World. The only question was who would subdue this continent, and in what fashion would it unfold. After several rocky starts, with conflicts between native populations and amongst the European powers and colonists, once the United States began its march westwards in earnest in the 1800s the makings of a superpower were clear. The principles of liberty, ingenuity, and raw ambition were on clear display, with vast territories falling into the influence of this new nation, building out cities, trails, and new technologies that took their people to the stars in the coming years. As the European empires crumbled with the end of the second world war, the United States emerged as the global power, ultimately defeating its last rival in the Soviet Union and paving the way for an era of globalization in the American image that has standardized around its English language, cultural icons from Hollywood, and business practices from Wall Street to Silicon Valley. But in the 21st century, as the middle class is increasingly hollowed out as foreigners pour in to make their fortune without any regard to the people and culture that built the foundation of the United States, heritage Americans are starting to question some of the fundamental precepts of equality and seemingly unlimited electoral franchise that have driven many of the fundamental changes of late, and possibly consider a new political revolution that reshapes the nation into one more resembling a country that is more set on improving the lives of their own people and future generations.

From the towering red cliffs to the scorching deserts of the American Southwest, people have always lived by the natural beauty of the landscape - and died by the scarcity of resources and the violence incumbent on the populations that have passed through. After the Pleistocene glaciation carved much of the dramatic rock faces and left verdant streams, agricultural civilizations rose and gave way to more nomadic and violent ones as the waters receded and the deserts we know today took hold. Only until recently, however, has the Sunbelt as its economic promoters like to call it seen significant population growth, enabled by vast public waterworks and electrification have allowed desert oases like Phoenix to arise with their year round golf courses and clubhouse air conditioning. Historically, very few people were able to call the desert home, which became infamous for attracting those looking to start over, or just simply disappear. Today we are joined by Thomas Wayne Riley, resident and host of ‘The American Southwest’ podcast to talk about the region’s history and what the future may bring.

Controversial amongst a wide range of Americans from progressive liberals on the left and dissident thinkers on the right, Palantir has nonetheless played a growing role in identifying potential threats to the American order from battlefields in Ukraine to conflict in the Middle East. Many see the type of data analysis, simulation and prediction tools Palantir specializes in as essential for the coming wars with near-peer adversaries like China as cyber and drone engagements take the place of more conventional conflicts, but others fear the abuse of such systems against the populations of American and allied citizens. From the perspective of this show and our guest Lance from Lance’s Legion, we generally believe that the peril does not necessarily lie in the new technologies themselves, but rather the people entrusted to wield them if they do not sufficiently share the bond of blood, faith, and/or loyalty to an ideal that our nation was built upon.

On Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, after over a month of air raids over Iran and retaliatory missile strikes on Israel and neighboring Gulf states, the United States and Iran announced a tentative cease fire to hostilities. News of this sent stocks markets surging the following day and oil futures plummeting, but unfortunately over the weekend negotiations broke down surrounding the terms of a peace deal, most notably focused on the opening of the Strait of Hormuz as well as limiting Iranian nuclear capabilities and the presence of American military bases in the region. With the future geopolitical situation in question, as China and Taiwan broach a reconciliation and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict further strains NATO relations, the shape of the world’s monetary order is being challenged with calls to move away from the US dollar and Gulf-state oil system towards a Chinese currency and Russian oil-backed one. Tonight we are joined by two financial experts Ron Dodson and Ace Niederhoff to weigh in on the economic ramifications of these events and discuss what the US and global political order may look like in a post-Trump world.
