Also, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will be reopening August 25th on both coasts. On Wednesday June 29th, in Port Canaveral, Disney hosted a celebration filled with musical performances, special guests, and the stars of the show - the Disney Wish godchildren.
During the ceremony, three Make-A-Wish ambassadors—Colby, 10; Megan, 16; and Jenna, 13—played a historic role, representing past, present and future Make-A-Wish children and reciting a time-honored blessing of the ship, which symbolically bestows good fortune on the vessel and all who sail aboard it.
The inaugural sailing, and the DVC sailing are still on schedule to occur as planned. It does appear the ship is ready to sail and accept guests.
