It was a pleasure interviewing Rick Khol and hearing how God has richly blessed him and used him for the past several decades!

I first heard about the Bible Experience a few months ago and was able to take a tour of it on a weekend trip to Wichita, KS for my niece’s wedding. It was such an amazing experience!

Hidden away in the back of Genesis Church this museum goes above and beyond what you would expect to find.

Rick has spent many years collecting precious items that all help tell the story about The Greatest Story. But it’s not just the items that are so amazing to see; it’s the abundant amount of knowledge Rick has from years of living for the Lord, studying his Word, and searching for pieces of history that all point back to Jesus.

Now I know that Wichita, KS probably isn’t on your bucket list but a visit to the Bible Experience its well worth your time!

Marshall lived a normal childhood. As the baby of three boys, they were known to be loud, adventurous, and well…boys!

It’s clear through Marshall’s story that from a young age, the Lord was preparing his heart to receive salvation. And while he lived the life of a Christian on the outside for awhile, the enemy was doing his best to convince Marshall to live in fear and anxiety, ultimately keeping him from full surrender to Jesus Christ.

Through the loving discipline of some men who had invested greatly into Marshall’s life, he was eventually “handed over to satan” so that he might truly return to the Lord (1 Corinthians 5:5; 1 Timothy 1:20).

After years of living apart from Christ, knowing his actions were wrong, Marshall finally had an encounter with the Savior that would end up changing the course of his life forever!

You can hear through his testimony how the Lord has softened Marshall’s heart and how sincerely he loves the Savior! I pray that this will be an encouragement to you today that no matter how far you (or someone you know) might have drifted from the Lord, it is NEVER too far for his mercy and redemption!

Many of us thought it was ok to breathe once the regular legislative session was done in Missouri…but our good ol’ Governor wasn’t done ruining Missouri lives yet!

Time will tell just how bad it’s going to affect all of us and a lot depends on what happens with the KC Chiefs and Royals decision to take the MO or KS offer, but meanwhile, you can stay updated about what all was passed in Special Session and get a background look as Lisa shares her experiences from the Capitol.

Joe’s journey was filled with positions that he didn’t seek out but when he accepted Jesus Christ as a young man he made a promise to do whatever the Lord asked of him.

From his love for bikes (motorcycles) and time in the Navy to an unwanted role in Youth/Senior Ministry, God was methodically and strategically preparing him for his role as state Senator in Missouri.

I’m very grateful for men like Joe who are willing to answer God’s call even when it doesn’t feel fun! I have no doubt that the Lord is doing a good thing through Joe for our state.

*For those in Missouri, the first few mins I discuss some very urgent and important information regarding property taxes in our state. Please take a minute to read this blog and/or listen to this podcast to gain a better understanding of what’s going. And please pray for favor! For the Governor to hear our pleas and add Sen. Nicola’s bill to the special session next week!

Today, school choice is being touted as a great, conservative agenda but where did it really come from? Who were the minds behind it and when did it first come onto the scene?

Mr. Klyczek has sacrificed much time and energy not to protect himself but to protect our country and the future generations to come. This is the kind of leadership we need all over our states, men who are thinking about years down the road and not consumed with what can benefit them right now.

No, we’re not a perfect nation, but it is our nation and we were chosen to be a part of it. Let’s act like we’re grateful and proud to be American again!

As I share on the show, I’m so grateful for people like Miss A and the many others who have given hours and hours of time and energy to listen/watch and take notes of the session. The rate of bills being heard and passed this session made it impossible to keep track of everything.

Please make sure to contact the Governors office (573-751-3222) and ask him to VETO SB79. We discuss this on the show but as a recap: this bill began as 3 pages and one section on “healthcare benefits for certain organizations” but changed to 31 pages and eight sections, then retitled “healthcare”. Unconstitutional?? It transforms a choice for medical treatment into a legal obligation if a pregnant woman tests positive for STI’s. While the language does say the woman has the option to take the test, it is very dangerous to assume that a woman who takes the test will be told and/or will know that if she does test positive she will then be mandated to receive treatment.

I know when I was pregnant there were things that I missed because of hormones going crazy, sleepless nights, and the all too familiar baby brain! I guarantee you there are many woman who will go along with what their OB suggests because they haven’t had the time nor the brain power to do the research themselves and will then be blind-sided by this dangerous language of “shall”.

How about the government just keeps their dirty paws off?!

STOP MAKING MORE LAWS!!!!
